Roa is a working cattle farm, made up of approximately 60% cleared land and the rest native bushland. The Yowrie Valley is largely surrounded by the beautiful Wadbilliga National Park. It is a 35 minute drive to the beaches near Bermagui, whilst the historic and quirky town of Tilba is 40 minutes away. The crystal clear Yowrie River flows along the western side of the property with numerous secluded swimming holes. The property is a working cattle farm so you're likely to meet some very friendly Jersey cows during your stay, as well as a lot of native wildlife such as kangaroos, wombats and birds. We operate three Hipcamp sites and two different locations on the property. Mountain Camp is a single site and offers complete seclusion and privacy, while River Camp is a double site and offers views across the valley whilst only being metres from the river. Both locations have composting toilets. We cater for small groups who are seeking a quiet, peaceful escape. Our sites are small and are capped at 6 people each, per night. Absolutely beautiful farm and camp site! The Camp by the Dam site was private, peaceful, scenic and sheltered from the wind, with views over the dam. We experienced a lot of wildlife (wallabies, kangaroos, lizards, frogs, horses and heaps bird life). We spotted kookaburras, nectar eaters and two different kinds of Kingfisher birds (if you enjoy birdwatching, I recommend taking binoculars!). It was the perfect spot for our dog to be primarily off lead and she absolutely loved it, with plenty of space to run and play. We had the entire farm to ourselves for our three night stay, and even if other campers had been on site, it still would have been very private. Waking up to bird song was absolutely delightful. The kitchen, toilet and shower facilities were great to have access to, within a short distance walk. The kitchen has a small fridge, microwave and washing up facilities, dining table, air conditioning and power points to recharge our power bank for our phones. There were plenty of communal areas which would be perfect for group events (large outdoor dining area/table and chairs, fire pit, beautifully landscaped spaces, events building with large kitchen, dining and lounge area). There were recycling and general rubbish bins, and toilet paper was provided. We ordered a wheelbarrow of wood for our three night stay which was more than enough for our time there and was ready on site for our arrival. We can't wait to book our next visit! Highly recommend!

Lovely, secluded, peaceful and private spot. Loads of space and nice and flat. Feels like the middle of nowhere but only 5 mins from the cute little town of Mogo. I was a bit hesitant taking my Coaster down the track to the site. But hey the site description did say 4WD might be best! The good news is I got down - and back out! - totally fine. Hot tip for a bus - use first gear all the way, take it nice and slow and it's a piece of cake! Naomi and Wozza were easy to deal with and helpful. Great little spot all round.

We had a wonderful mid-week stay at Kangarutha Bush Camp (Site 1) for 5 nights with our two dogs. It was the perfect peaceful spot and such a great base to explore the surrounding areas. Lisa and Tom were lovely hosts, welcoming, friendly, and always happy to help. The amenities were clean and well looked after, which made our stay even more comfortable. Our dogs absolutely loved the open space and bush setting, and we really appreciated how dog-friendly the site was. We left feeling relaxed and refreshed, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a peaceful escape close to nature!

Wow what a great weekend away. Rob was the perfect host. Communication was great before arrival. Very helpful during our stay. Property was very well maintained. Tucked away in a scenic location but only minutes away from the Pub and great little Cafe on waterside. Lots of mountain bike tracks close by. Lucky to have the monthly markets on while there. So much history in the area. We had a great time and already planning our next stay.

A fantastic few days at Rob’s spot in Nelligen. Large flat camp spot with thick green grass. Heaps of space for camping, kicking a footy and doing cartwheels. Excellent fire pit too! Rob is a thoroughly decent bloke who keeps an eye on things whilst giving campers plenty of privacy. Proximity to the pub was a plus and it was great to hear the live music from camp. Nelligen is perfectly positioned to explore river, coast or surrounding forests. Thoroughly recommended!

Situated on the Tuross River about 45 kms (or a 50 minute drive) from the town of Narooma on the South Coast. Tinpot Farm is about 90 acres with about an acre and half of camping space on river frontage. Campers are required to be fully self sufficient with their own facilities for cooking and showers and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. There is a communal toilet for the campground. Campers can enjoy water activities in the Tuross River (fresh water) such as fishing, swimming and kayaking. Camp fires are allowed. Firewood is available. We recommend 4WDs as road access for 2WDs is dependant on the weather. Please send us a message if you'd like to discuss your vehicle. No pets please.

Roagumba, or Roa for short, is our 920 acre patch of paradise in the stunning Yowrie Valley, an area traditionally inhabited by the Yuin people. Roa is a working cattle farm, made up of approximately 60% cleared land and the rest native bushland. The Yowrie Valley is largely surrounded by the beautiful Wadbilliga National Park. It is a 35 minute drive to the beaches near Bermagui, whilst the historic and quirky town of Tilba is 40 minutes away. The crystal clear Yowrie River flows along the western side of the property with numerous secluded swimming holes. The property is a working cattle farm so you're likely to meet some very friendly Jersey cows during your stay, as well as a lot of native wildlife such as kangaroos, wombats and birds. We operate three Hipcamp sites and two different locations on the property. Mountain Camp is a single site and offers complete seclusion and privacy, while River Camp is a double site and offers views across the valley whilst only being metres from the river. Both locations have composting toilets. We cater for small groups who are seeking a quiet, peaceful escape. Our sites are small and are capped at 6 people each, per night. To reduce traffic and out of respect to our neighbours, there is a maximum of 2 vehicles allowed per site. One additional vehicle per site can be organised, however we need at least 72 hours notice.

Beautiful Coastal farmland near to Mimosa Rocks National Parks. Easy to access. Close to stunning townships of Bermagui just 15mins north and Tathra 30mins south. Observe an abundance of wildlife - spot an eagle, kangaroo, wallaby, possum, goanna, wombat or whale! Surf or swim any of the amazing beaches or lagoons -Bunga, Hidden Valley, Arraganuu, Bithry, Cuttagee, Camel Rock, Horseshoe Bay or Blue Pool. Walk the dog at Beares beach in Bermagui or Cuttagee beach, 10mins drive north. This is an incredible coastline to explore. Enjoy local fresh produce from Bermagui farmers market in summer on Thursday afternoons; Saturday market at Honorbread courtyard; fresh seafood either catch yourself or purchase from Bermagui Fishermans Wharf. There is a little shed on this patch of land and campers have access to an undercover area off the side of the shed plus half of the inside area of the shed not being used for storage. There is a rainwater tank at the back of the shed. A nice, new compost toilet faces into the bush, we no longer use the one at the back of the shed. To locate when heading south on Tathra -Bermagui Rd , Turn left into Hergenhans Rd which is approx 14km south of Bermagui, then left into Wrens Rd (Goalen N Rd on google maps) , follow Wrens Rd about 800m and you'll see a gateway on your right with Hipcamp sign (Bunga Summit). It is opposite gateway on left with Lot 3 sign. The next gate is padlocked where the shed is. To access Bunga Beach, continue along Wrens Rd through neighbouring properties. The road has recently been resurfaced so is now accessible with 2WD. This is National Park so you can't have dogs here. To access Back Bunga Beach continue along Hergenhans Rd and left onto O'sheas Rd which is also a good accessible road. taking you through neighbouring properties and ending at Mimosa Rocks National Park. This is an amazing walk from the carpark south along the beach to Hidden Valley. For dog walking beaches head to Cuttagee just 10mins north towards Bermagui, or Beares Beach in Bermagui. For injured wildlife or any wombats with mange around the campsite please phone my neighbour Sara as she volunteers for Wildlife Rescue South Coast.
