The camping area is surrounded by walking tracks and over the Christmas period the renowned Clyde Berry Farm is open where you can pick your own fresh berries or relax on the grounds for a ice-cream. You will find Shallow Crossing is also just a 10 min drive up the River Road for an exhilarating swim in fresh mountain water. The traditional water side camp kitchen offers a BBQ and table to eat. Has power and lighting, fresh drinking water, toilet, hot and cold shower and plenty of cover. With a fire pit just outside for toasting of marshmallows this makes for the best camping spot in the region. Please be mindful this is a camping and caravaning experience, there is for your convenience a flushing toilet (bring own toilet paper). This site has its own concrete boat ramp making a heaven for all fisho's and skiers. The ramp is totally safe to launch any watercraft. We are located just a short distance from town, where you can find a range of shops, restaurants and cafes. If you love markets, you're in luck! There are plenty of local markets in the area, including the Moruya Country Markets which are held every Saturday. You can also visit the Moruya Farmers Market, held on Tuesday afternoons, or the nearby Tilba Market, held on Saturday mornings. The tiny nearby town of Bodalla boasts a magnificent dairy with cheese tasting (try the lemon myrtle!) and interactive calf feeding daily at 10am and 4pm. If you want a few pints and great meal, the ribs at the Adelaide Hotel are magnificent (although only available seasonally) and a courtesy bus is available from the entrance to the property. There are plenty of tourist attractions to explore in the area, including the stunning Eurobodalla National Park, the historic town of Mogo and the renowned Mogo Zoo. For those who love the outdoors, the Moruya river is perfect for fishing, kayaking and swimming. If you're looking for natural beauty, you'll be spoilt for choice. Take a drive along the coast and discover beautiful, secluded beaches, or explore the nearby forests and waterfalls. Our riverside camp sites are great for large or small groups boasting generously sized and spaced grassed sites offering beautiful views of the abundant Moruya river along with individual firepits* Whatever your interests, Glenduart Farm Riverside Camps are the perfect place to relax and enjoy all that the South Coast has to offer. THE IMPORTANT STUFF: ACCESS: As you enter the property, you'll find yourself driving down an unsealed dirt road, before embarking on approx 100 meters of fairly flat to gently sloping paddocks. We recommend 4WD or AWD vehicles to access, however will leave this to your discretion. PETS: We are a working farm with horses and cows that are easily spooked and we only allow dogs under very (very) special circumstances. Please send an enquiry if you wish to bring a furbaby along, but as a rule, we do not allow dogs on the property. AMENITIES: There are no drinking water or electricity provisions on site. There is a toilet provided with walking distance to all sites. Our future campers and native wildlife request that you keep your business contained to onboard toilets, porta potties or the toilet provided. Under NO circumstances are toilet cassettes to be emptied in or around the river or campsites. RIVER ACCESS: Our large sites offer sweeping views and great fishing however the banks are raised and will require some tenacity if you wish to swim or pop a kayak in. You can however moore small watercraft including boats & jetskis after putting them in at the boat ramp a short drive up the river. FENCING: We have farm fencing in place between the camp sites and the river bank, however we advise small children be monitored as there are several open access points along the riverbank. As mentioned, we are a working farm using gates and fences to contain our livestock. As a rule, leave all gates as you find them (eg: if you open a gate, close it after you. If its already open, leave it open) WILDLIFE: You'll see huge wombat holes all along the river bank - although tempting for the kids, please refrain from digging these out further as our wombats still use them as houses and they contribute to riverbank erosion. You may be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of our fabled red stag in the evenings and will see an array of beautiful birds and other native animals that share our property. Please note: Any form of animal cruelty will not be tolerated and there is no hunting allowed on the property. *FIRES: Govt / weather restrictions permitting. Mabe lit in designated firepit areas only - BYO Firewood. A small wood pile is provided to each camp on arrival to get you started and provide a modest fire for the night, however chopped firewood is available by the bag or wheelbarrow on a cash basis. $25 for a large bag - $50 for a barrow. One of Australia's two aquatic mammals, the platypus being the other. This campsite suits self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower. IF NO CHEMICAL TOILET, DIG A HOLE AT LEAST 30CM DEEP . There is access to a drinking water supply (mountain river water), or you can bring your own water. After heavy rain you may need to boil/filter for drinking. You will need a 4WD to access the campsites closest to the river as there is a shallow gully crossing. Camper trailer or off road pop up campers will be able to negoiate the tracks. Good clearance necessary to pass over one gully crossing. Dogs are welcome, however, we do run sheep in an adjoining paddock so they need to stay close to your camp. Kids aged 16 and under camp for free. There is a dedicated campfire pit so you can stay warm on chilly evenings (please check to see if there is a seasonal fire ban in place). Fire wood can be provided - chainsaws are permitted but be mindful of structures that are animal habitats. Your family may enjoy taking a bushwalk that takes you around the 300 acre native bush paddock. Climb up and get a birds eye view down into a gully of magnificent granite boulders above where the river disappears deep below. There are horses you can pat and a few sheep that are very friendly and love to be given bread. The historic Bega Cheese Factory and Heritage Center is just a couple of minutes away. The main shopping center and mall in town is just a five-minute drive. On our property, we can offer you a relaxing quiet stay in a secure area. CAPACITY - We are able to host only a single campsite comprising a single tent or caravan for no more than two nights duration only. This will ensure compliance with NSW State Govt regulations that are policed heavily by Eurobodalla Shire Council. Please do not plan to erect a second tent – this may result in a fine that we will pass on to you. We apologise if this prohibits your larger family and small group from enjoying our property. 2. SITE AMENITIES - The camp is best suited to adventurous campers with swags, tents, rooftops, light camping trailers and small popup caravans. There is a flushing toilet, a hot shower, running (dam) water, and firepits but no electricity or refrigeration. We have fire pits available for guests use, please ensure there are no restrictions in place before lighting a campfire in the designated firepit. Firewood is available at additional cost. 3. ROAD ACCESS - The last couple of km of dirt track are undulating and dusty, but perfectly fine for all vehicles in dry conditions. Access and exit will become challenging for larger motorhomes and caravans, heavy camping trailers and 2WD vehicles (especially front-wheel-drive), after periods of heavy or prolonged rain. Pitch your tent or park your campertrailer in the native bushland with the pristine Numeralla River as your boundary fence. This 3000 acre property is located close to Nimmitabel and not too far from Cooma. Try your hand at trout fishing and enjoy endless tracks for bushwalking and observing the native wildlife. Wander along the river banks just enjoying the serenity of the location and witness platypus feeding, water dragons sunning themselves and the brown trout fly feeding and one of Australia's beautiful but lesser known native rodents, Rakali (intelligent semi aquatic water rat who's scientific name translates to golden -bellied water mouse). One of Australia's two aquatic mammals, the platypus being the other. This campsite suits self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower. IF NO CHEMICAL TOILET, DIG A HOLE AT LEAST 30CM DEEP . There is access to a drinking water supply (mountain river water), or you can bring your own water. After heavy rain you may need to boil/filter for drinking. You will need a 4WD to access the campsites closest to the river as there is a shallow gully crossing. Camper trailer or off road pop up campers will be able to negoiate the tracks. Good clearance necessary to pass over one gully crossing. Dogs are welcome, however, we do run sheep in an adjoining paddock so they need to stay close to your camp. Kids aged 16 and under camp for free. There is a dedicated campfire pit so you can stay warm on chilly evenings (please check to see if there is a seasonal fire ban in place). Fire wood can be provided - chainsaws are permitted but be mindful of structures that are animal habitats. Your family may enjoy taking a bushwalk that takes you around the 300 acre native bush paddock. Climb up and get a birds eye view down into a gully of magnificent granite boulders above where the river disappears deep below. Identify the unique sounds of the native birds and follow the tracks wildlife create. We are centrally located - just 1.5 hours from the snowfields and from the best beaches of the NSW coastline. There is a small general store, 2 takeaway cafes and a pub at Nimmitabel, or you can get all supplies in Cooma 25 mins away. Please note that we have very limited reception service for mobiles, so let's communicate via messages before you arrive in our area. I can provide a camping setup if you need extra bedding or you don't have any camping equipment or tent.

Riverview is just a five-minute drive from the famous Bega Cheese Factory located in Bega, NSW. Our 33-acre property has 360-degree views of mountains, rolling farmland, and countryside and it overlooks the beautiful Bega River. Tathra is just 15 minutes drive away, with Merimbula around 25 minutes, Bermagui 45 minutes, and Eden 35 minutes. All of these towns have beautiful beaches, fishing, boating, whale-watching tours, and much more. Pack a picnic and walk to the river just down the hill from your camp site. The Bega river is clean fresh water and is well worth a visit on a hot day to cool off. Your hosts can show you a secluded area of the river that you can access easily. The whole area has an array of beautiful spots to explore both on the property and along the riverside. Jackie is always willing to give fresh produce from her veggie garden during your stay just to make you feel welcome. There are horses you can pat and a few sheep that are very friendly and love to be given bread. The historic Bega Cheese Factory and Heritage Center is just a couple of minutes away. The main shopping center and mall in town is just a five-minute drive. On our property, we can offer you a relaxing quiet stay in a secure area. Big Island Bend offers 40 acres of pristine bushland on the Western bank of the Clyde River just North of Big Island in the middle of the Batemans Bay Marine Park. The north-facing campsite is in a beautiful location with access to riverfront beaches, water sports, fishing, mountain bike trails and hiking. Note - bookings are by arrangement only. BEFORE YOU BOOK - PLEASE MAKE SURE THIS PROPERTY IS RIGHT FOR YOU 1. CAPACITY - We are able to host only a single campsite comprising a single tent or caravan for no more than two nights duration only. This will ensure compliance with NSW State Govt regulations that are policed heavily by Eurobodalla Shire Council. Please do not plan to erect a second tent – this may result in a fine that we will pass on to you. We apologise if this prohibits your larger family and small group from enjoying our property. 2. SITE AMENITIES - The camp is best suited to adventurous campers with swags, tents, rooftops, light camping trailers and small popup caravans. There is a flushing toilet, a hot shower, running (dam) water, and firepits but no electricity or refrigeration. We have fire pits available for guests use, please ensure there are no restrictions in place before lighting a campfire in the designated firepit. Firewood is available at additional cost. 3. ROAD ACCESS - The last couple of km of dirt track are undulating and dusty, but perfectly fine for all vehicles in dry conditions. Access and exit will become challenging for larger motorhomes and caravans, heavy camping trailers and 2WD vehicles (especially front-wheel-drive), after periods of heavy or prolonged rain. We will refund your booking fee if you choose to cancel, or we close the property, due to the weather (it will need to be bad for us to close the property, so you won’t want to be there anyway). Please message us in advance for advice if you are concerned about the weather or vehicle access. 4. PETS - Well behaved pets are welcome but must be controlled and cleaned up after.

What an amazing property for campers! Peaceful, well maintained property, with welcomed powered sites by the river with really close access to the river via boat ramp. Ross and Lisa are exceptionally welcoming hosts and ultimately main contributors to the wonderful experience. The only regret we had was our stay of 3 nights was too short! Will definitely be taking the time to get back to Ross and Lisa’s great camping grounds.

Beautiful site! Right on the river and so peaceful. We had some good chats with Ross. Very sad we were only there for a night and will definitely come back for a longer trip. Facilities were great. The road in is a little bumpy but we got in fine with our AWD and trailer. Highly recommend stay here.

My friends and I (and our two dogs) had the best weekend camping at Clyde River at Ross and Lisa's property. The camping sites are very well kept, the areas nice and tidy, the space between campers is great too. Sites are flat so easy and suitable for setting up swags and tents. The toilet and shower facilities are very well clean and everything was provided. The location is perfect, we were able to get the boats in and out easily with the boat ramp on site. Highly recommend and we cant wait to come back!

Top campsite! Grass super well cut, property well maintained, has a boat ramp as well which goes onto the Clyde river which is so pretty. Can head into the cafe and pub via the river too. Each site has its own campsite, very spacious. Wood fired pizza oven, hot shower and toilets also on the property. Would definitely return.
