Hello Campers! Our beautiful property is located on 20 acres in a convenient location just 10 minutes out of Campbelltown. The property is a short drive to Dharawal National Park, and a great 'home base' while you explore everything the area has to offer.
There are fire pits provided for campfires, given there are no fire bans or restrictions in place. If you would like to be further away you can camp near our dam which is becoming more popular as of late .If you would like to be totally tucked away in the bush we also have spots totally surrounded by bush, please let us know when booking. There is a hot outdoor shower and a toilet on site just a short walk from all the camp sites.
Please take note that our dogs which love people and are super friendly wander around freely and will come and visit you, so if you do not like dogs please do not book in .

The Freedom Farm has been in our family for nearly 50 years and we know it has a much longer history as a place of gathering, healing, learning and celebration. The spirits are strong here. We have been working the last few years on Rewilding the land and it is the healthiest it has been in my lifetime. Encompassing salt marsh, casuarina forests, open grassland and gumtree groves there is an incredible diversity of species to be found on this relatively small property. Bordered by Mangrove Creek it is protected on all sides by sandstone mountains yet remains sunny and open. A lush and powerful place.

Lovely clean spacious area for tents and cars/caravans. The canoes and kayaks were incredibly fun and free of charge, with nice secluded area great for a large group of friends/family to enjoy some quality camping!

I loved camping here. There were so many great spots to explore! We went fishing, sat at the jetty and played card games, played football on the big flat bit of grass, canoeing and had a camp fire with our mates. I will be coming back here again when I need an escape from the city life!!

Amazing campground. So peaceful. We had the place to ourselves (aside from the cows) all weekend. Great hosts. Well maintained campground and facilities. Sites are really generous and well spaced out. Loads of birdlife - even saw a lyrebird. Great walks on the property. Perfect for a close to Sydney getaway.

This campsite is on the doorstep of the blue mountains,
not too far from Sydney for a lazy weekend but also close enough to the mountains and hawkesbury to explore.
You’ll have a view of horses and kangaroos too!
