Skye's camp ground is definitely a camp site you need to experience. Lovely host and a beautiful setting . Very private and easy access for all types of vehicles. We had an on road caravan and access was easy. Would highly recommend.

My husband and I had a great stay at Skye's property :) We booked last minute and were lucky to get a spot! Our campsite had a fire pit and views across the valley it was absolutely perfect for our weekend away!

The campsite was awesome, big expansive field with plenty of flat ground to comfortably camp on. Comms from the owners was awesome, super responsive, perfect directions. They came and talked us through their property (we went for a bit of an explore of the acreage and when we got back they had provided us with a fire pit, it was perfect for the rotisserie! Legends! Will definitely be back!

The Last Post is a truly beautiful and picturesque campsite. Skye and Owen were incredibly friendly, making my son and me feel warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived. The cows grazing in the paddocks added to the charm and peaceful atmosphere. Highly recommended—10/10.

We stayed here for a couple of nights in April 2026. Absolutely lovely property and area. Beautiful. Owen and Skye the owners were great. Cows friendly too. You'll need your own drinking water and washing up equipment but firewood was able to be bought at a good price. Recommended!

A more private site away from the other guests was perfect for our Easter weekend, we had a funny surprise visit in the night from the cattle on the property and would highly recommend the amazing scenery!

Skye's Campground was amazing, nice well taken care of campground, pre laid out fire circle, amazing location with some awesome views and surround wild life! We have never heard so many birds before! It was truly a treat. Entry into the campgrounds was easy even with a trailer, the spots were well laid out and far enough from each other that we didn't even hear our a neighbours and with some strategic car parking, we didn't even see them! The toilet was well cared for, with plenty of TP, and even a airfresher to help combat any odours left behind. Skye was a amazing host, stopping by to say hello and have a quick gossip during the day, which was greatly appreciated, especially getting a feel for the area and generally just saying hello! We will be back, we had a absolute ball

We really enjoyed the weekend unplugging from the Internet with no reception. Directions given made the site easy to find. Lots of room even with other groups. Not far to the Colo River swimming spots. Hosts were welcoming as were the cows and horses. Will be back 😀

Fantastic place, and beautiful walks and scenery. We loved it and our dogs loved it even more! The cows are really adorable, and made friends with our pups. Everything was great, highly recommend for a wonderful weekend getaway.

We absolutely loved our stay here! We spent two nights with our caravan, along with our three young children and our two dogs, and it was such a wonderful little getaway for all of us. The spaciousness, privacy, and simplicity of the property were exactly what we were looking for. It felt peaceful and relaxed, which made it easy to unwind and enjoy the surroundings. The kids especially loved seeing the friendly cattle and horses, that was a real treat and something they’re still talking about. We also enjoyed being just a short drive away from the river, where we could head down for a paddle and cool off. It was the perfect balance of quiet countryside and little adventures nearby. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property with us, we’d happily return and would definitely recommend it to others looking for a peaceful family escape.

Really enjoyed my stay here, I couldn’t believe I was just 1.5 hours away from the city! This new HipCamp is set back from the main road, so super quiet and private, but still with easy access to the gorgeous Colo River for kayaking and fishing. It’s surrounded by beautiful lush bushland, with plenty of wildlife to see. Hosts were lovely and welcoming - I’d definitely camp here again!
