Endor is a primitive camp site with cabin style accommodation. There are two bunkers which are set 25m apart and each bunker can accommodate 2 people Max. Basic single bed set up with basic linen however it is required that you bring your own temperature rated sleeping bag for seasonal Camps in winter and shoulder periods. The weather can change very quickly, and temperatures can drop to below zero with snow in Winter. Campfires are allowed during the winter season and each bunker has a fire pit. Our aim is to provide a comfortable bed in an alpine off grid setting for those who seek an experience in nature. Located on Batlow Road you will experience some road traffic noise and log truck activity during peak hours in the morning and afternoon. A small reminder that you are still close to civilization.

This camp is one of the nicest we've seen,with all the amenities you would expect from a top caravan park only in a much more private setting, lush green grass sites even an enclosed private camp where you can let your pet roam free all day, Noel was a pleasure to deal with giving plenty of information on local attractions and things to do. Wish we stayed longer and highly recommend to anyone and everyone.

We really enjoyed our stay at Burraburoon’s farmstay and our dog loved it too. It’s a good place to relax and enjoy nature. Just something for future campers to be aware of: we saw 2-3 monitor lizard around the area three to four times during our stay. It didn’t bother us, but it’s helpful to know what to expect when camping here.

Noel and Meralyn are absolutely amazing and their spot was perfect for our one night stop over. Well kept beautiful area perfect four our camper trailer. We could close off a gate to let our dog Murphy run around freely after spending 8 hours in a car. Noel met us on arrival and showed us around including access to to a well maintained amenity. What a fantastic place to stay! We camped with the van for a week and it was perfect. The camp kitchen has all you could need and is neat and clean. The toilet and shower blocks are also very clean. There was plenty of wildlife, emus, eagles, kangaroos and goannas. The kayaks and private lake was perfect for the hot summer days. Fire pits available for the cooler nights. Hosts Tertia and Ken lovely and very accommodating. We would highly recommend this camp to everyone!

We loved this site. It was remote, has a great fire pit and lovely red dirt. The hosts were really easy to communicate with and the site was easy to find. We like being away from it all so this was great for us. The stars at night time were brilliant as was the drive in with so many emus (with babies) to spot. We loved our night here.

Primitive Paddock Camping at it's best. Great flat ground, easy to set up and good access for the caravan. Having sheep, kangaroos and emus visit us was an added bonus. Ken was a great host, he met us on the camp grounds went through the do's and should not's. Just loved the peace and quiet, with the calming sounds of nature

Where to go

Wagga Wagga

One of the largest towns in the Riverina, Wagga Wagga is a handy place from which to explore the Riverina as there are a variety of different camping options and lots of foodie experiences all in one place. As well as holiday parks, campers can stay at farmstays, to get an up-close experience of the Riverina’s agricultural and horticultural culture. While it’s an inland city, Wagga Wagga is on the Murrumbidgee River and has an attractive sandy river beach with shady trees, barbeque areas, and swimming spots.

Griffith

Wine enthusiasts might want to head straight to Griffith in the Riverina, a town with many wineries and cellar doors where you can sample the local drop. There are well-equipped caravan parks around the town, where you can find camping facilities for all budgets and service needs, as well as more simple, rural campsites not far from Griffith and around Lake Wyangan to the north of town.

Albury

This NSW–Victoria border town sits north of the Murray River. As well as attractions like botanic gardens, an art gallery, and kids’ playgrounds within Albury, campers in the area can also check out Lake Hulme, where the Murray River is dammed. Nature reserves are set at various points along the lake, while a holiday park sits at Lake Hume Village. As Albury and Lake Hume are on the Victoria border, this area is a good jumping-off point for exploring the nearby state parks in Victoria, such as Mount Granya and Mount Lawson State Parks.

Mungo National Park

West of most Riverina towns, the dramatic Mungo National Park is an otherworldly landscape of dry lakes, sand dunes, rocky outcrops, indigenous culture, and archeological sites. There are two campgrounds within the park, one with a range of tent, caravan, and trailer sites and facilities, while the other is more basic. This dry area is more characteristic of the quintessential Australian outback than the lush, fertile Riverina, but it’s accessible from Riverina towns, including Griffith and Hay, by travelling west along the Sturt Highway.
