For those after more of a glamping experience, there are 3 x one bedroom cabins available. On-site amenities include hot showers, flush toilets, fully equipped camp kitchen with a large undercover area (perfect for large groups or private functions), and a laundry.
We are a dog-friendly park so the whole family is welcome. Dogs need to be controlled at all times and cleaned up after. No aggressive dogs please.
Campfires are permitted in designated fire pits only and may be subject to fire bans. Firewood and ice are available for purchase (cash preferred).
Recycling bins are provided, otherwise campers are required to take their rubbish with them. Wi-Fi and Telstra coverage are available.
Rainforest Gateway is located approximately 8klms along Grady's Creek Road, just 20 klms north of Kyogle and 15 klms from the Queensland border on the popular scenic tourist route, Lions Road. Kyogle is a bustling town with an IGA supermarket, MTB riding tracks, lovely gift shops, cinema, bowling alley, and a selection of dining outlets. For those wanting to immerse themselves in nature, the Border Ranges National Park is a short drive away.
Please note Lions Road is temporarily closed for road repairs and expected to be reopened late January 2026. We can still be reached on Gradys Creek Road off Summerland Way, ignore Google maps if it directs you to Lynches Creek Rd.

Situated a 1/2 hour drive South of Beaudesert, following the signs to Rathdowney and turning onto Christmas Creek Road that veers to the left. 26kms along the very picturesque Christmas Creek Road and you arrive at a little bit of paradise in the Scenic Rim. So much to see and do in the area, a short drive to the Lost World Tourist Drive and Tommerups Dairy to name a few. Further along Christmas Creek Road takes you past the Christmas Creek Cafe and onto Lamington National Park and bushwalks to the Stinson Memorial Crash Site and Larapinta Falls. So much to enjoy in the Scenic Rim.

We enjoyed our stay on Jane's property. Wi-fi was included which was great for the kids and there is water available which was very handy. The site is well kept, private and very convenient for exploring around the Gold Coast, Tweed Heads and Byron Bay region. The site was quiet and we felt safe. Crabbes Creek was a cool little town with a cool General Store. We would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful New Year’s Eve stay at Logan Park Farm - Carp Central. Libby was an excellent host, so friendly and helpful even before I had booked the site and again throughout the stay answering questions. We were out one day and she went out of her way to help fix some gazebos that had blown over, which we really appreciated. Lovely host and beautiful location she has.
The property itself is beautiful and very well looked after. The dam was a highlight for our family and friends. Perfect for swimming and we loved spotting lots of turtles coming into dark. It is muddy to enter the water but otherwise great. The only downside was the flies, but that’s to be expected on a farm and didn’t take away from the experience. Cedar Creek Falls is only about 40 minutes away and absolutely stunning as well, making this an even better location. We’d happily stay again.

Only a one night stay.. it was a beautiful spot.. so serene with a lovely view. We camped at whistling duck. Host was lovely and welcomed us with a pamphlet of info and map and showed us where our spot was. Camp is close by a local petrol station/convenience store with an Indian food take away. Only downside to this spot was lack of trees but we were blessed with a weather change and some cloud cover to keep us cool. Didn't end up getting on the dam but did a little fishing. Also quite a few flies but to be expected on a cattle farm. Will definitely come back and would love to try some of the other camp spots here.

We adored staying at Rainforest Gateway. The location is relaxing and spectacular with a wonderful running creek. It was however quite busy but we were not on top of each other during the Christmas period. There is no real individual water hookup just to let people know. This is a pet friendly park and were however disappointed in some owners allowing their dogs to wonder around and do their business wherever they liked without picking it up. Wonderful for families and we will go back again.
