You are able to launch your own tinny at our private jetty. A firepit is provided and you can collect your own wood yourself, or purchase a $20 a wheel barrow load with your booking. Wildlife is plentiful here, so please respect the environment and clean up after your self. There are some amazing local beaches only minutes to Potato point or down the back track 10 minute drive or, ride your pushie or walk (its a bit of a walk) - straight to Blackfellows Point at Potato Point. There are lovely walking tracks around the property and lots of fishing, kayaking and just plain lazy days. Watch the sunrise or walk to the other side of the property and watch the sunset. Watching the moon rise on the lake is quite beautiful. Launch your tinny and go fishing or simply kayak or lazy around. The site is dog friendly, but your pet must be well behaved and not aggressive as there may be other campers and pets on the property during your stay. You may not be right next to each other but please respect other guests. Just 10 minutes from the charming village of Bodalla, which was founded on the back of dairy farming and cheese production back in the 1860s. 30 minutes drive either way to the hubs of Narooma and Moruya. No barking dogs and no loud music or parties. This is a peaceful getaway. Short car trip to famous beaches where you leave nothing but footprints. It's our secret!

Sydney is a four-hour drive, and Canberra a two-and-a-half hour drive. Meringo is located on the lands of the Yuin people, to whom we pay our respects.

Hobbs Bay Farm Narooma

Only minutes to Narooma on the NSW South Coast, this lovely 100 acre bush and open farmland setting has it all. Bike and walking trails all over the property, heaps of wildlife and you may even get to see some red deer wandering around. Guests are required to be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Check out the new born swans and spoonbills in the wetlands on the property. Whether it be bushwalking, mountain biking or water sports on Wagonga inlet, there is always something to do. We do have some kayaks for your use that can be launched on Punkalla creek alongside Hobbs Bay Farm. Only 15 minutes from Historic Tilba and 10 minutes from Narooma it is the perfect location for your next getaway. A real nature lovers paradise. At this stage it is primitive camping/caravan or camper trailer only.

Enjoy 100 acres of natural beauty, 10 minutes from Batemans Bay (south of us), 30 minutes from Ulladulla (north of us) and 10 minutes from Pebbly Beach (east of us), we have the most pristine beaches available on the south coast. IMPORTANT: STRICTLY NO CHECK-INS AFTER DARK 7pm in the summer is the latest... NO EXCEPTIONS. I also have a strict no-noise after 9pm policy. I offer a safe environment to rest for the night or stay for a few and enjoy all that the local area has to offer. Located off the highway, some road noise may be heard. Only 10 minutes from amazing beach fishing at Durras and beautiful Long Beach known for its kayaking and paddle boarding. There is so much to see and do. Climb Pigeon House Mountain or cruise on the Merinda up the Nelligen River over a seafood lunch...you will not be disappointed. Upon arrival, you will be able to choose a spot on the property that you wish to set up. All campers must be self-contained, with their own camp toilet and take all waste when they go. Strictly no 'digging a hole.' When booking please note that one site is big enough for your van or tent, the extras button is for extra guest/children in your tent or van. If you have guests with another tent or van and vehicle they need to book their own site The pubs and clubs are a near convenience, or you can just kick back by your own pit fire and enjoy the stars in the safety of The Hundred Acre Woods. Visit Tathra, but stay at Kangarutha, only 2km from the edge of town, and enjoy space, privacy and tranquillity. We intentionally only have a limited number of campsites on our large property, so that you can enjoy camping in a natural setting away from the crowd. Our stunning property is comprised of open paddock areas surrounded by large areas of native forests, and we border national park. Enjoy the forest trails here on the property, which take you on a tour to our peaceful back dam. Or explore further afield - our place links to both the Tathra-Kalaru bike track and the Bournda National Park, where you can access the Tathra Mountain Bike Trail Network, as well as the secluded coves along the Kangarutha Walking Track. Our property was home to the former and well-loved businesses 'Kangarutha Nursery', and 'On the Perch Bird Park'. We have been busy re-imagining these spaces. We have drinking water, flushing accessible toilets and one hot shower a short walk from the campsites. Our property is dog friendly for well behaved dogs that don't chase wildlife or the horses on our property. No hunting dogs. Campfires permitted when there are no restrictions. You can gather your own wood, or we can prepare wood for you.

I have blocked bookings from March 2024 as the area will be a construction zone during the build of our house and shed which are close by to the Bunga Surf Shack and camp sites. Coastal farmland, half wooded, half cleared, distant neighbours and nearby National Parks. Great surf beaches including Bunga Point, Cuttagee and Aragunnu all close by. There are numerous coastal lagoons, Biamanga and Mimosa Rocks National parks. We have a large dam at the entrance to the property. The township of Bermagui is 15 minutes drive north; Tathra and Bega are 30mins south. There is an abundance of wildlife including kangaroos, wallabies, goannas, echidnas, eagles, wombats. You can enjoy whale watching, diving, swimming, surfing and walking coastal tracks from here. As well there is an abundance of great food available with Wapengo Organic oysters just down the road, Mimosa Winery close by and numerous cafes, pub, restaurants, sourdough bakery, woolworths, bottleshop etc in the gorgeous coastal village of Bermagui. Mobile phone and internet coverage is good with Telstra, not as reliable if you are with Optus. Lovely place to switch off from your device if possible though. If you require firewood please select this in the extras or leave $20 cash per nights supply as we do have to chop, split and deliver this to the site. There is plenty of kindling to scavenge on site. Please be respectful of neighbours, drive slowly for wildlife, and no flying of drones over private land. Thanking you.

A 67-acre bush property surrounded by forest, with several peaceful camping sites for self-contained campers. The area is abundant with flora and fauna, and is thankfully recovering well after the bushfires of December 2019. Your host is Loretta Parsley, a locally known elder and custodian of the Walbunja country and Yuin people, and she will share her love of the area and local history with you. She is also an artist and offers Aboriginal Art Classes and Boomerang Design Workshops - book one during your stay for an enriching cultural experience. The nearest beach to the property is Depot Beach, a 10-minute drive away, a beautiful cove with some lovely nearby bush and coast walks through the Murramarang National Park. The nearest river swimming is Shallow Crossing, with crystal clear waters, also just 10 minutes away. There are also some well-established bushwalks on the property if you aren't wanting to venture out. Clyde River Berry Farm is on the way to Shallow Crossing, a great day out for the kids, where you can pick your own berries (when in season) and have their berry ice cream. Plus the famous East Lynne Pie Shop is not far away - try their apple pies! Batemans Bay is also just a 15-minute drive south, the closest large township for supplies, cafes, restaurants and the beautiful Clyde River entrance.

Cape Meringo is a 200 acre, wild, coastal property just south of Moruya, adjacent to Eurobodalla National Park, with kilometres of frontage onto the Meringo Lagoon and an easy walk to two, magnificent, isolated beaches. The property is roughly four hours south of Sydney and two hours east of Canberra. There are no facilities for campers on the property so all visitors must be fully self contained, including with their own toilets and all waste must be taken away. Cape Meringo is accessible by 2WD but is more suitable to campers with a 4WD (especially if there's been wet weather). This is bush camping. Your sites are surrounded by old growth forest so if you're looking for big water views or direct water frontage this may not be the property for you. Dog friendly. Campfires permitted (wood supplied).

IMPORTANT: STRICTLY NO CHECK-INS AFTER DARK 7pm in the summer is the latest... NO EXCEPTIONS. I also have a strict no-noise after 9pm policy. I offer a safe environment to rest for the night or stay for a few and enjoy all that the local area has to offer. Located off the highway, some road noise may be heard. Only 10 minutes from amazing beach fishing at Durras and beautiful Long Beach known for its kayaking and paddle boarding. There is so much to see and do. Climb Pigeon House Mountain or cruise on the Merinda up the Nelligen River over a seafood lunch...you will not be disappointed. Upon arrival, you will be able to choose a spot on the property that you wish to set up. All campers must be self-contained, with their own camp toilet and take all waste when they go. Strictly no 'digging a hole.' When booking please note that one site is big enough for your van or tent, the extras button is for extra guest/children in your tent or van. If you have guests with another tent or van and vehicle they need to book their own site The pubs and clubs are a near convenience, or you can just kick back by your own pit fire and enjoy the stars in the safety of The Hundred Acre Woods. Welcome to Meringo Beach Camp! Located on 100 acres of private beach-front farm land, this camp is perfect for couples, families and friends looking for privacy, basic camp facilities and direct beach access. Enjoy the beautiful South Meringo beach, Honeymoon and North Meringo beach a short stroll away. Your campsite is surrounded by beautiful red gum trees. It features a shared bush shelter complete with a BBQ, solar powered lighting, and tables for meals. You will also have access to simple amenities, that use spring-fed dam water. Campers will need to bring their own drinking water. This site is on a working family-owned and run farm currently running sheep. It has long been a special gathering place for family and friends for more than 40 years, and is now available on Hipcamp. The camp also sits on the famous Bingi Dreaming Track, a beautiful coastal walk that stretches from Congo Beach to Tuross Head. Moruya is the closest town, a 15-minute drive away. Sydney is a four-hour drive, and Canberra a two-and-a-half hour drive. Meringo is located on the lands of the Yuin people, to whom we pay our respects.

Sunset Point

When you stay at Sunset Point you have lake frontage onto Borang Lake ( 4km from Potato Point), which connects directly with the Tuross lakes. You are able to launch your own tinny at our private jetty. A firepit is provided and you can collect your own wood yourself, or purchase a $20 a wheel barrow load with your booking. Wildlife is plentiful here, so please respect the environment and clean up after your self. There are some amazing local beaches only minutes to Potato point or down the back track 10 minute drive or, ride your pushie or walk (its a bit of a walk) - straight to Blackfellows Point at Potato Point. There are lovely walking tracks around the property and lots of fishing, kayaking and just plain lazy days. Watch the sunrise or walk to the other side of the property and watch the sunset. Watching the moon rise on the lake is quite beautiful. Launch your tinny and go fishing or simply kayak or lazy around. The site is dog friendly, but your pet must be well behaved and not aggressive as there may be other campers and pets on the property during your stay. You may not be right next to each other but please respect other guests. Just 10 minutes from the charming village of Bodalla, which was founded on the back of dairy farming and cheese production back in the 1860s. 30 minutes drive either way to the hubs of Narooma and Moruya. No barking dogs and no loud music or parties. This is a peaceful getaway. Short car trip to famous beaches where you leave nothing but footprints. It's our secret!
