Food, drink, the great outdoors and even live music entertainment, truly Canowindra has it all.
Our property proudly boasts the original miner's cottage circa 1860, which is one of the oldest original buildings in the area.
No amenities at the campsites currently. Campers must be 100% self contained and bring their own camping toilet and shower.
Pets welcome but must be kept under control, leashed, and tethered at all times.
Horses considered. Must bring own portable yard, feed, and water. Please message us for a chat.

Approximately 45 minutes from Orange, 4 hours from Sydney. The region between Molong and Parkes offers scenic views, bush walking, bush camping, picnic areas, mountain biking trails, and 4WD touring. To the northwest lies Goobang National Park that includes Caloma lookout, one of the high points in the Wanda Wandong sector of Goobang National Park.
The area is a bird watchers' paradise - you can often spot birds of prey, such as wedge-tailed eagles, brown goshawks and brown falcons, soaring across the sky. Black cypress pines, grevilleas, lomandras and heath feature commonly on the landscape. There are many tall grass trees in this area too, some of which are believed to be hundreds of years old.
This is a large property that is taking a break from sheep farming. Covered in gum trees and pines and lots of open space. The property has a creek with all year round water holes and dams. You can do almost anything you want. Hiking, fishing, swimming, camping and living the dream.
There's emus (bush chooks), kangaroos (hopping dogs), platypus and no drop bears, meaning you can sit back, relax and go back to the way it was.
Self sufficient campers only, leave no trace. You must bring your own camping toilet and shower.
If booking under the Group listing, you will need to arrange you own portaloos, which I am happy to manage delivery/pick up of with the local hire company.
It's 15 minutes to the pub in town if you're up for a coldie or a meal.

We loved our night here in the bush there is a little Hut where the stove that's all set up for campers and was nice reprive from the rain when it came down late at night gorgeous property and couldn't recommend it more. Anna was also very lovely!

We had an amazing stay at this campsite! Bruce was a fantastic host—welcoming and very accommodating. The site was extremely well kept, with plenty of space and a great sense of privacy, which made it even more enjoyable. It’s a great spot for fishing and swimming. Everything was clean and thoughtfully maintained. We would highly recommend this campsite to anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing getaway, and we will definitely be back!

We just spent a phenomenal time at this campsite and can't recommend it enough. From the moment we arrived, our host, Bruce, made us feel welcome. He's incredibly accommodating and friendly, stopping by to check in, chat, and—most importantly—dropping off a huge supply of firewood and a firepit. He made it clear that he was available if we needed anything at all, which we really appreciated.
The site is truly a perfect family retreat. We loved the natural beauty, especially the pristine, flowing river. The grounds were impeccably kept: the grass was lush, green, and perfectly trimmed. The ultimate luxury was the total peace and privacy of having the entire area to ourselves. We are already planning our return for a much longer visit!
