Rosnay is a pioneering organic farm in the Central West. The Statham family moved to Rosnay in 1996 and began renovating the run down farm using organic and biodynamic methods. They planted the first vines in 1997, and olives in 1999, as well as thousands of native trees, all planted and grown without any chemicals. The exclusive camping area is on the banks of a old farm dam in the middle of the olive grove. There are sheep and alpacas, and plenty of birds and kangaroos living there too. For those who prefer not to sleep out in the elements, we also offer a lovely farmstay guest house by direct booking. Rosnay is proud to be part of Rivers Road Organic Farms, an organic farming community title project.

Come and camp on the banks of the Lachlan River just 10kms from Cowra and 27km from Wyangala Dam. The property is located off the Darby Falls Road in Cudgelo lane just 10mins from the township of Cowra. With 500m of river frontage and only two camp sites privacy is assured. With no amenities these campsites are for the self-sufficient campers only with their own showers/Toilets and drinking water. As this is a working property pets on leash only, as stock could be wandering around meaning all gates that are closed need to remain closed after entry/exit. Note: There is NO direct access to put boats in the river. Please see the mud map in the photos for the location and your campsite. Other things to note Wyangala Dam and village are nearby with access to watersports, fishing and nature walks. Cowra township is a short 10-minute drive away with a range of shops and facilities. The river paddock has 500m of river frontage and spans 100 acres so go for a walk or maybe try your luck at fishing by dropping in a line. Wildlife abounds with rabbits, kangaroos and if in luck you could see the resident wombat going for stroll.

There are dozens of birds and other wildlife (pets are welcome, but must be under control). Bring everything you need, then take it away when you go. 4WD access recommended. Enjoy your camp! Sites are flat, grassy, and big enough for backyard cricket! Guests must be fully self-contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure. Pets are welcomed. Campfires are welcome in the fire pit.

Approximately 45 minutes from Orange, 4 hours from Sydney. The region between Molong and Parkes offers scenic views, bush walking, bush camping, picnic areas, mountain biking trails, and 4WD touring. To the northwest lies Goobang National Park that includes Caloma lookout, one of the high points in the Wanda Wandong sector of Goobang National Park. The area is a bird watchers' paradise - you can often spot birds of prey, such as wedge-tailed eagles, brown goshawks and brown falcons, soaring across the sky. Black cypress pines, grevilleas, lomandras and heath feature commonly on the landscape. There are many tall grass trees in this area too, some of which are believed to be hundreds of years old. This is a large property that is taking a break from sheep farming. Covered in gum trees and pines and lots of open space. The property has a creek with all year round water holes and dams. You can do almost anything you want. Hiking, fishing, swimming, camping and living the dream. There's emus (bush chooks), kangaroos (hopping dogs), platypus and no drop bears, meaning you can sit back, relax and go back to the way it was. Self sufficient campers only, leave no trace. You must bring your own camping toilet and shower. If booking under the Group listing, you will need to arrange you own portaloos, which I am happy to manage delivery/pick up of with the local hire company. It's 15 minutes to the pub in town if you're up for a coldie or a meal. Our farm is a work in progress.

Weekend Trip to Eaglesrest

We had an amazing stay at this campsite! Bruce was a fantastic host—welcoming and very accommodating. The site was extremely well kept, with plenty of space and a great sense of privacy, which made it even more enjoyable. It’s a great spot for fishing and swimming. Everything was clean and thoughtfully maintained. We would highly recommend this campsite to anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing getaway, and we will definitely be back!

3 nights at Camping in the Rosnay Olive Grove

The campsite in the olive grove was excellent, plenty of space and the facilities enough to make for an easy, relaxing, and peaceful stay. I had three nights and enjoyed the birdlife, clear night skies, and the cellar door close by. The hot shower, gas cooker and fridge made the camping so easy it is a great place for a quick getaway.

We had a fantastic weekend at Honey Suckle Farm. The host Pete was great making sure we were well looked after. The property is stunning with plenty of places to explore. Weekend Trip to Eaglesrest

We just spent a phenomenal time at this campsite and can't recommend it enough. From the moment we arrived, our host, Bruce, made us feel welcome. He's incredibly accommodating and friendly, stopping by to check in, chat, and—most importantly—dropping off a huge supply of firewood and a firepit. He made it clear that he was available if we needed anything at all, which we really appreciated. The site is truly a perfect family retreat. We loved the natural beauty, especially the pristine, flowing river. The grounds were impeccably kept: the grass was lush, green, and perfectly trimmed. The ultimate luxury was the total peace and privacy of having the entire area to ourselves. We are already planning our return for a much longer visit!

Great location for solo or group camping. Stone's throw from the winery cellar door. We recommend getting a cheese platter with your tasting, fantastic experience! Really lovely and helpful hosts. Camp kitchen is well equipped for making food, with some basics to help out. Beautiful olive grove to explore. Plenty of wood for the fire. Awesome tree house for bigger kids.

Patrick was incredibly helpful with instructions marking the spot for us to find easily, even mowed a place for us even though the grass height is what I would expect for a paddock next to a beautiful river. Highly recommend. .
