Drive down the driveway to the Hipcamp sign on the right, enter and set up next to one of the available fire pits. We'll visit you in the afternoon.
Misty Mountain Farm is a family run working beef cattle property and horse training facility situated at the base of picturesque Coolangatta Mountain.
Camp grounds are well maintained grass paddocks surrounded by beautiful picturesque scenery.
Campfires are permitted when local restrictions are not in place
Fire pits are provided - firewood to be kept within firepit
Kindling for cooking supplied
Firewood for evening fires available on arrival - 20kg @ $20

It is a 10 min drive from Nelligen town centre and a 20 min drive from Batemans Bay. If you need supplies you can also travel by boat into Batemans Bay and tie up to many of its wharfs for that different experience.
The camping area is surrounded by walking tracks and over the Christmas period the renowned Clyde Berry Farm is open where you can pick your own fresh berries or relax on the grounds for a ice-cream.
You will find Shallow Crossing is also just a 10 min drive up the River Road for an exhilarating swim in fresh mountain water.
The traditional water side camp kitchen offers a BBQ and table to eat. Has power and lighting, fresh drinking water, toilet, hot and cold shower and plenty of cover. With a fire pit just outside for toasting of marshmallows this makes for the best camping spot in the region.
Please be mindful this is a camping and caravaning experience, there is for your convenience a flushing toilet (bring own toilet paper).
This site has its own concrete boat ramp making a heaven for all fisho's and skiers. The ramp is totally safe to launch any watercraft. With water onsite you can even flush motors at the end of the day.
The property has Mobile Telstra coverage for added security (No Wifi)

We are a family of 4 with 2 school aged boys. We have travelled extensively around Australia and are familiar with the caravanning lifestyle. Pitch your self contained camper or caravan in our secluded garden in Bundanoon. We are only 0.5 acre but there is plenty of space for kids and well behaved dogs. Depending on the size of your set up and rainfall you will either be on grass at the back of our garden with moderate privacy or at the front of the house on gravel - not as much privacy.
We have a fire pit, (firewood available) and the garden is child and dog friendly. We hand feed the wild king parrots and our resident blue tongue lizard, named Bluey!
Hook up to water and power and you can manually empty cassettes. Wifi is available but can be unreliable. Bundanoon village is only 1.4kms away. The pub is even closer! Moreton National park is only 2.5kms away and we are familiar with the walks there.
We will mostly be around if you need us and are more than happy to recommend places to visit and eat. I can also offer wholesome home cooked meals or meal hampers - please message me ahead of time to enquire / arrange. Bundanoon has a small IGA, several restaurants (including a decent Thai and Italian), pharmacy, post office, newsagent, multiple cafes and various shops.

The instructions to get to the property were clear and easy to follow. The property and amenities were as described, and has everything you need. The boat ramp is excellent. Ross and Lisa were friendly and made us feel at home. Will come again.

Great camp ground , definitely one of the best hip camps we have been to , plenty of grassy sites , we were able to explore the Clyde river in our small boat which was awesome. Owners Ross and Lisa were really nice people and keep camp ground looking really good , amenities were more than adequate, thanks for the stay we would definitely recommend and will be coming back thanks .

This camping spot is just beautiful, we just relaxed in the sun and shade. Took the SUP for a splash, water was just right, the facilities were good, and not many other campers close by unlike the big parks. We will definitely be back with our boat next trip

Scenic location with great hospitality and amazing access. We kayaked to the location and pulled up on the boat ramp. We were greeted by Ross on arrival and had access to a firepit, bbq, shower and toilet with great service from the hosts. The perfect place to relax, get away and escape the busy life style and enjoy the peace and quiet. I would definitely recommend and come back. Thanks Ross and Lisa

What a stunning place to pull up, set up a tent or campervan, sit under the sky, the stars, on the soft grass. Admiring and taking in the views of the surrounding mountains, trees, horses, cows and bird life.

I’ve been to Clyde RIver Camp 3 times now and each time I fall more and more in love with it! It’s a great location, the grounds are well looked after, the toilet snd showers are in great condition and Ross and Lisa are very welcoming! The boat ramp is very accessible and we had no issue launching our boat from there.
Our dogs love the location as well!

Clyde River Campground is in such beautiful location. We stayed for a night in our campervan on a powered site. Right on the river it was a really relaxing stay. The grounds are well maintained, the facilities are basic but all that you need. Very peaceful and tranquil location. Great if you have a boat as you can access the river from the boat ramp on the property. We also had our dogs with us which was no stress. The other campers also had dogs and all got along very nicely.

We loved our stay at Clyde River Campground! So very peaceful - just the kookaburras and us for some of the three nights. We really felt we could unwind. Even when there were a few others we were all spread out with 100s of metres between us.
It was great having a flush toilet and hot shower available as a back up to our own facilities - thank you!
We loved Ross and Lisa’s very well maintained boat ramp, which was right near our campsite. I was impressed seeing a 32 odd ft boat launch there! We just wheeled our little 12ft dingy over haha!
Ross and Lisa are very welcoming and helpful. Ross kindly helped us with a couple of hiccups we had with our first trial of our gear. Thanks Ross!
I wouldn’t recommend a low to the ground car on the road in- quite a few corrugations- but no big potholes. Majority of cars would do it fine. Beautiful drive in that adds to the feeling of getting away from it all, but town is not too far away that we couldn’t run in and get a couple of things we forgot.

Fantastic well maintained campground on the Clyde River. We arrived on kayaks and it was easy to spot from the water. Boat ramp and grassy powered and unpowered sites. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Jervis Bay National Park
No trip is complete without a visit to Hyams Beach, the main highlight of Jervis Bay National Park. In addition, the White Sands Walk and interconnected Scribbly Gum Track loop through the park, taking you along the coast and through forest and woodland. Stop along the walking track to go snorkelling or picnic at a secluded beach, and look out for native sugar gliders and birdlife including New Holland honeyeaters, eastern spinebills, eastern rosellas, and crimson rosellas. From an elevated viewing platform, Bull Hole Lookout offers fantastic views over the coast and surrounding dunes, all covered in swamp oak, banksias, and wattle trees. Learn the area’s history and culture on a tour with an Indigenous guide to try your hand at weaving and taste damper and native tea.
Booderee National Park
See the ruins of the Cape St. George Lighthouse perched on the edge of a cliff in nearby Booderee National Park. The park has great camping areas and is home to Australia’s only Indigenous-owned and managed botanic gardens. The area’s beaches include family-favourite Green Patch, Scottish Rocks, Bristol Point, Hole in the Wall, and Murrays Beach, a great place to watch sunrise over Bowen Island. Cave Beach is another popular highlight, known for surfing and offering the chance to see native kangaroos and wallabies.
Currambene Creek
Explore the tranquil Currambene Creek and its mangrove forests during a safari or sunset cruise aboard the iconic Husky Ferry. You might see wildlife like soldier crabs, sea eagles, and stingrays. The ferry also operates between Myola and Huskisson on weekends.
Huskisson
Just north of Huskisson, Moona Moona Beach is ideal for swimming and picnics, thanks to its shallow water, barbecue facilities, and outdoor showers.
