We are 10kms from Pindari Adventure Park which is a great spot to take kids. We are 25kms from Macintyre Falls and the Kwiambal National Parks which has a number of beautiful walks you can enjoy. Ben Falls, Goat Rock, Reedy Creek Winery and Zappers Winery are all close by as well.Campers must stay within the designated camping area whilst on the property.We have provided a fire pit for your enjoyment and can arrange firewood to be available upon request. We have a stunning 640 acre cattle farm nestled in the hills of the Northern Tablelands, overlooking the Wellingrove Valley. Redbank has many beautiful places and things to see, including two natural gullies full of native birds and wildlife, native woodlands, four beautiful dams and wild fallow deer.
Redbank also has about 140ha set aside under Biodiversity Conservation Trust. This is a "no drive" area but always open to walking. There is a map available to show where everything on the property is located.
Redbank features diverse terrain, from secluded forests and woodlands to open undulating paddocks with excellent views and sunsets.
A campfire is allowed, however it needs to be kept at a reasonable size, especially during fire restriction periods. Please keep the fire within the allocated fireplace provided. At times we provide guests with firewood when we are able, but they are permitted to use nearby timber collected themselves.
We have multiple campsites available, however we realise that you may want to be independent and camp in a unique place! We understand this, however we will direct you to a spot which best suits the campers' and their vehicle type, as some of our tracks are 4x4 only. We limit numbers of groups to the number of campsites available. In this way, we protect the environment and wildlife. We will be here to help you decide on the best campsite on arrival.
There is some access to water (not necessarily drinking), but you will need to bring your own shower. There are no rubbish facilities or showers and limited access to toilet facilities.
Pets are welcome but must be kept under your control at all times as we have cattle on the property. We have a friendly Maremma guardian dog who can turn up unannounced. He will most probably lick you to death.

Awesome place to relax. Fantastic host. Great fishing. Loved the wild life and live stock. So chilled. Highly recommend. You need to be fully self sufficient and if you want to camp right on the river probably a 4wd and if in a caravan maybe off road one would be easier but never say never. Well worth the trip. Will definitely go again.

What an awesome stay at Nive Camp Sandstone. We were only going to stay a night but ended up staying for 4 nights. Really peaceful, great fishing. Susannah is a really great host. So friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend. Will definitely do that again.

The site we stayed on was beautiful down by the river, was nice and flat excellent swimming for the kids even tho the river was flowing pretty good. Good fishing caught a fish first 5 min of being there. Susannah was lovely took us down to our site and was verry helpfull and welcoming cant wait till next trip

We had a great time camping at Fernlee Station, the main reason we went there was my son wanted to catch a Murray cod, fishing was tough as water had been released from the dam but we still managed a few nice cod, spent a lot of time at the nearby waterfall which was awesome!

Wow, this place is going to go close to my favourite Hipcamp.
Firstly, Susannah is so so helpful and kind. The generosity as a ‘first responser’ was overwhelmingly kind and while so appreciated- I absolutely didn’t expect it!
I thought from the pictures getting our 21ft van in might have been tricky but it was one ‘semi tight turn’ and the gentlest slop.
We swam and definitely recommend taking a kayak. Our 2 year old loved sitting at the waters edge with us for ‘water play’
There was one other camper there for a brief period but it’s like you’re in complete isolation and just perfect. No phone reception. Huge grass patch beautifully mowed.
The stars in the sky of a night are something to see for yourself.

Just spent 6 nights at Site 1 and what a wonderful site it is, plenty of room for us and our 2 dogs. Great access and also good access to launch the kayak and do some fishing. Would highly recommend this site for families, or just wanting to have enough space and not be near other campers. We will be back and be bringing along friends and extra family. The host Sussanah was also wonderful to speak to and very helpful with direction to our site.

Our family absolutely loved our stay at Fernlee Station. 'Nive Downs Sandstone' was the name of our camp site, a large well maintained area right on the Severn River, a large fire pit complete with large swinging BBQ plate and arm for hanging campovens. The camp is situated right were small rapids start, with the sound of running water all day and night. Fishing was a great success with many cod caught and released over our 5 day stay. Directions to the camp-site were very easy to follow. Being self-contained is a must. Highly recommend this camp site!
