The farm is a rolling 17 acres with Currambene Creek making up the property's northern boundary. We have an abundance of native birds, kangaroos, and a few wombats. Our primary purpose here is horse agistment, with four horses currently on the farm, along with 12 lovely chickens that free range during the day. The farm is a beautiful haven to take a stroll and explore, enjoy a peaceful breakfast in the gentle mornings, or sit and enjoy wine and cheese at the end of the day as the sun goes down. We are located 15 minutes from the local beaches and a little bit further to get to the Huskisson township with the famous Husky pub, 5 Pigs Cafe, and various other restaurants and cafes.

The site is well grassed and provides abundant shade from the overhead canopy. Best shade is in the morning when you want to sleep in. There is a tranquil creek on the eastern side of the camp and horses and hand reared cattle graze on the western paddock. You need to be a self-contained camper with your own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. Bring some books, set up a hammock and laze the days away. Beaches on the coast and beautiful Jervis Bay are 20 Minutes away. The Jervis Bay region has much to offer so if you're up for adventure, bring your kayaks and snorkelling gear. Our beaches have the whitest sand in the world. Why not check out the dolphin and whale cruises and get up and personal with the marine life.The property is 3 km off the Princes Hwy. We had such a lovely stay at Kookaburra: Riot site. The location was easy to find & very well signposted. The Riot site was easily accessible by 2WD vehicle in dry and light rain. It’s’ beautiful country with the swimming creek so very close by! We loved having the cows and horse nearby also, as well as actual kookaburras. The camp site was clean with lots of flat space to pitch our tent. The pit toilet was very well kept, (particularly given it was Summer). Christine was very accomodating of a late check out on Sunday afternoon, which we greatly appreciated.

We stayed at Woodenhead for one night over the Australia Day weekend. Scott was very friendly and met us upon arrival, and showed us to our campsite, which was helpful. The campsite has lots of shade and trees, so it felt very private despite there being half a dozen other campers on the property. There is a rainwater tank on site that is available which we used for washing up etc. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would camp here again.

We loved camping at The Bushman’s Clock at Kookaburra, we want to live here ourselves! A beautiful spot of farmland nestled in the woods, sharing a field with a friendly horse and cows. Easy to find, just off the Highway and only a short drive to towns and beaches all around Jervis Bay, so it was an ideal location.
