The land itself was abandoned with rubbish and weeds everywhere when I arrived and with a bit of hard work, some patience and care it has become a place of beauty. It has been returned to much more of its natural and native state. This process of positive change has created a healing in the environment and for myself, and visitors express this magic in the air.Nowadays we are offering meditation, yoga, and therapeutic types of practices in the main home that the land and campsite is a part of. We didn’t end up getting to stay at the cabin as we couldn’t get into the drive way. Would definitely recommend taking a four wheel drive if you are going after rain. Annabelle was lovely and did everything she could to help but it just didn’t work out. So would definitely recommend Annabelle as she was friendly, kind and helpful.

The perfect hideaway!! We had a lovely weekend and saw so much wildlife. It was so nice to dip our feet in the stream on a warm sunny day. And the shower was luxury when it was chilly in the evening! The cabin was so cosy and comfy. Would definitely recommend, and hope to come back one day. Next time will have to bring binoculars to watch the birds. Thank you Annabelle and Drew.

Lovely location, so quiet and relaxing. The gardens are beautiful, and we didn't even get to see them in full bloom! David has great communication, and in what was very obviously not a normal situation, made sure we had clear info to get to our site etc. The toilet location was great, and serviced. We loved our stay, and thoroughly enjoyed Silky Oaks.

Highly recommend silky oaks. I was in the retro Glamping and there was everything you needed. Bed, bbq, outdoor chairs, fridge, kettle, fan and heater if needed. Outdoor shower with hot water and toilet. Great location close to Sydney but still peaceful and private. Lots to do wander around the farm, feed the horses (bring carrots) or explore the area. Highly recommend. The camping site were great too by the look of it.

We booked site 1, but stayed at site 6 - amongst the liquid ambers. David met us on arrival, took us to a couple of different sites on the property, and let us choose. Site 6 was nice - quite private, yet only about 50m walk to the flushing toilets (very clean). The gardens are really nice, and a lovely place for a walk around in the afternoon. Some stunning native flowers in amongst the gardens too. Peaceful overnight, and birdsong in the morning. This is an easy/relaxed camping spot only an hour out of Sydney - great for families and first timers.

Stayed for 2 nights during the horrific rain Sydney had, so we didn't have a chance to explore. The first night was a powered site with an en suite, which was fantastic. Second night was a powered site with communal toilets/showers. Both were super clean, showers were hot and powerful.

We absolutely loved our weekend away to the cabin! It was extremely cold, but the fire pit and the indoor fireplace definitely helped. It’s a lovely location, beautiful night sky, and you feel completely isolated. We had a few issues with our car and the hosts were extremely helpful, Even coming to tow us out of trouble! Very friendly people and extremely helpful. I recommend this stay to anyone looking for a little escape, Just be prepared to collect a lot of firewood if you come during winter 😁
