The property is a short drive to Dharawal National Park, and a great 'home base' while you explore everything the area has to offer. If you would like to be further away you can camp near our dam which is becoming more popular as of late .If you would like to be totally tucked away in the bush we also have spots totally surrounded by bush, please let us know when booking. I thoroughly enjoyed camping at Wedderburn. It was my first solo camp and i loved it. I stayed near the damn and was accompanied by Robert’s three doggos throughout my stay. The amenities such as the bathroom, pool and a shower was very accessible, and Robert also made sure that he was accessible should there be any issues. I will definitely come back again!

What a great little cost-effective place to stay. The kitchen and bathroom facilities and the cupboard shed area for wet nights makes it an excellent location to stop. Some people have mentioned the smell in their reviews, we didn’t get any of this. But there is so much space undercover where I’m sure you can hide out if there was a smell and still enjoy yourself. We will stay again

Weekend Trip to The Freedom Farm River Paradise

The 2 campsites are very private and spacious and you your group gets exclusive use of your site whether there is just 2 of you or 20 - a fantastic feature. We used the Marabalang campsite etched between the river edged with a narrow mangrove strip and some scrub. The Gum Trees campsite is far more open, but for just 2 of us, our campsite felt wonderfully secluded. Access to paddle craft wwas great and I enjoyed a couple of hours paddle up the river in a canoe provided. The birdsong of a morning was fantastic to wake to and we saw a couple of lyre birds each day on the driveway in. The host were lovely and easy going.

Our stay with Robert was honestly amazing! The space itself was big, spotless, and really well set up. The shower?l and toilet really good. And the firepit area was such a vibe. The pool was chef’s kiss — perfect for cooling off and floating around. And the absolute stars of the place? His three adorable dogs who decided we were part of their squad and played with us the whole time. We were obsessed. Robert himself was incredibly kind, sweet, and super attentive — the kind of host who makes everything feel easy and welcoming. 100% recommended

We had an awesome time camping here! Robert was very welcoming, knowledgeable and super friendly. We took our motorhome out for its first rodeo and found the site peaceful with great amenities and easy access. The pool and friendly dogs were a bonus which our kids loved. Highly recommend!

What a beautiful place to stay. i couldn't reccomend it enough ! Me and my partner stayed here 2 nights while we explored sydney and we would come back again. Robert was a gem of a host and was more then happy to give us recommendations of places to eat and to visit. With 3 lovely resident dogs: Zoe, Max and Rusty, and the option to have a campfire, our stay was welcoming and cosy. The facilities were clean and functioning and the grass where we pitched our tent was flat and bindi free. If you're looking for a comfortable stay, this is 100% the place

I had a fantastic weekend camping with friends. It was a perfect getaway to unwind and forget about the phone. Everything was as described and we were warmly greeted by Phil and Lyndel soon after arriving having already been directed to the campsite. Will be looking to repeat the weekend again soon
