Wyangala Dam and village are nearby with access to watersports, fishing and nature walks. Elliot's Lookout is a scenic spot with fantastic views of the dam and back waters. The Cowra township is 20 minutes drive and worth a visit for all your supplies. REVELSTONE MOUNTAIN offers camping with fantastic views. Plenty of space to go for a scenic hike, find spring fed dams for yabbie fishing or a quick dip in the water hole in Springvale Creek that runs through the property, lots of wildlife including kangaroos, rabbits and foxes. There are 8 designated camping areas to set up your camp. Enjoy an evening by the campfire some firewood available if you forage or bring your own however please do not cut down or use any standing trees even if they look dead as they add a nice feature to the property. This campsite is suited for campers who are self-contained, with own camping toilet/shower amenities and water supply. Pets on leashes welcome (we have lots of stock wandering about). This is a fully fenced farm all gates that are closed must be closed after entry plenty of privacy, there are over 6 k of 4 wheel drive tracks with amazing rock formations and features all through the property .Each campsite is your own private space and no neighbours. We are Marilyn and Peter, we own, live and run a mixed farming business from this beautiful land, located in the Central Tablelands NSW. The country varies between undulating and steep land and has 7 km of double frontage Bell River running through it. The river can range from rapidly flowing to the more usual steady flowing and is most often very clear. The river has numerous swimming spots, some with a rocky base, and some with sand. The winding river and the varying countryside is incredibly peaceful and beautiful and is a perfect retreat for those looking to disconnect and relax. The river has its origin near Orange and is also fed into by many springs. Weandre Creek runs in the backcountry and winds into the Bell River. Our comfortable Hut is situated on an elevated spot looking down on the river with a graduated road leading down. It has everything you need for a relaxing, recharging stay in nature. The Hut can accommodate up to 4 people, however, you also have the option for up to 6 additional guests to set up swags, tents, or a camper trailer nearby. There is space next to the Hut, or for those with a 4WD, there are some lovely camping sites down by the river. We also offer sites for those looking for a self-contained camping site, in a beautiful location. We love the solitude, the endless bush walks, swimming, and being immersed in nature. We are confident you will too. We also have a lovely art gallery on the property, and for a small fee and prior arrangement, you are welcome to come and take a look. From our farm, it is 60 km to Orange with all its wineries, food festivals, and many attractions. Wellington is 40 km and boasts the Wellington Caves. Dubbo is 90 km and is a big inland city and boasts the Western Plains Zoo. We are so glad to let you know we have a new (but intentionally rustic) structure which houses a shower powered by gas and solar with gravity fed water. Showers need to be short because water supply is limited. In a separate space is a gas BBQ and sink. This is pictured in our latest photos. This building also looks down on the Bell river which looks sensational at the moment due to all the rain.

Our property is a hobby farm with chickens, vegetable garden and we make condiments and fresh farm eggs to sell , we bake fresh bread on demand. We are pet friendly but pets must be controlled at all times and not chase the wildlife. We have a off leash area that is fenced where your fury friends can have play dates and run around. There are 4 large camping sites that must be you must self contained and leave nothing but footprints and great memories. Plenty of room for vans , boats , cars to park at your site . Camp site is a short distance from gate and 2wd can access. There is a communal fire place and wood is supplied but no collection of firewood. Fire only permitted in fire seasons. Our family has been here since the early 1820s. A great family-friendly campsite for those seeking a bush experience. Drinking water available but nothing else, no amenities, so you must have everything you need and leave no trace. 2WD most of the year unless rain, then need 4WD. Pets not permitted. Campfires permitted in a designated area only when restrictions aren't in place. Plenty of firewood around to gather fallen timber.All campers have the opportunity to join in our animal feeding every afternoon at 4pm, we'll take you along with us as we feed the chooks, working dogs, pody lambs and whatever else is happening on the farm! Mobile phone reception on the property is available through Optus and Telstra.

Rosnay is a pioneering organic farm in the Central West. The Statham family moved to Rosnay in 1996 and began renovating the run down farm using organic and biodynamic methods. They planted the first vines in 1997, and olives in 1999, as well as thousands of native trees, all planted and grown without any chemicals. The exclusive camping area is on the banks of a old farm dam in the middle of the olive grove. There are sheep and alpacas, and plenty of birds and kangaroos living there too. For those who prefer not to sleep out in the elements, we also offer a lovely farmstay guest house by direct booking. Rosnay is proud to be part of Rivers Road Organic Farms, an organic farming community title project.
