Situated just off Jamberoo Mountain Road, we are ideally located between Bowral and Kiama.
This campsite is a flat grassy area with rural views to the west and north west. Enjoy the lush green grass under the shade of old gnarly trees. Dogs on leashes are very welcome.
Campers will have access to toilet during their stay, just a short walk from the camping area.
Various birds, wombats and wallabies are common around our farm and we're located very close to Carrington Falls (Budderoo National Park), the Illawarra Fly Tree Top Walk
and Barren Grounds Nature Reserve where you can go for a lovely bushwalk or have a swim.
This campsite is best suited to caravans or RVs as we are situated near a
semi-busy tourist road between Robertson and Jamberoo (perfect if you need a safe place to stay on your adventure). Our front paddock has easy access off Gordon’s track.

This property is a Pristine Riverfront property in Colo Valley. It is a tidal river with sandy shallow sandbars and 10ft deep swimming holes. There is an abundance of native animals here including bandicoots,kangaroos, lyre birds, lace monitors, platypus and more! Access is via a short dirt driveway to the riverfront camping area. The access is 2wd unless there has been significant rain it becomes 4wd access.
We accommodate the larger groups
just steps away from the river. We have 2 water entrances, one is a large grassed area with
shallow water which is great for kids & families. The other entrance is a natural sandy entry with a deeper swimming area .
We also have a beautiful lagoon area where I can arrange additional campers.
We have built some new flushing toilets (3) with a hot water shower.
We are very accommodating of your pets. We welcome dogs and can host horses in one of the paddocks. Please ensure you contact the host prior to your stay if you are bringing any pets
Additional activities here include fishing, swimming, bushwalking, canoeing & birdwatching. We are also only a
5 minute drive to Colo Riverside Cafe.

Had a great long weekend at the Missingham Creek site. Site is very tranquil and private, with no noise from the other occupied sites reaching our group of 7 on the Aus day weekend. Plenty of room for 5 or 6 tents and the campfire was great.

We loved Shady Acres! It was the perfect camping spot for the long weekend. The river was fabulous on a very very hot day and there was heaps of space there for the kids to run around. Lisa was great to deal with and super helpful. The whole group agreed that it was one of the best places we have been. We would 100% go back.

Great spot. Panoramic views being so high up on the mountain were the best. Cows were no issue and were great company. Previous reviews mentioned grass was long but the cows didn’t stop eating all day so they were not long. Of course there was cow poo here and there which would be expected but caused no issue or any smell. Saw a family of kangaroos playing for hours down the hill. Weather was great and appreciated the nice breeze. Nights were surprisingly cool for summer but with lots of wood from trees kept us warm. We would have no issue returning as the tranquility was just what the Dr ordered. Thanks Anthony for sharing your little piece of tranquility.

Our group of 24 humans and 5 dogs had a great time at Shady Acres. There's plenty of space to set up on grass, really close to the river, which has easy access and is perfect for kids to play while adults laze.
We had the use of a big table and BBQ, fire pit and nice toilets and shower- all just right to make tent camping simple. It was very nice to have the place to ourselves and everyone said they'd love to come again.
Lisa has created a lovely place to take a break in nature and is very helpful when you need her!

I liked how secluded and private the camp site. It’s nice to pitch a tent on grassy ground.
It’s surrounded by trees, so we got plenty of shades and avoided the sun during high heat of 37C.
The toilet is not near, maybe 250 metres away. I don’t mind the walk at day light. It’s a flush toilet, has sink to wash hands. Bring your own soap and toilet paper. It has sensor lights and switch light inside.
Very low traffic sound, not bothered at all. We hear mostly birds chirping, which is great. Grocery is 8 minutes drive.
Carrinton falls is about 5 mins Drive. Illawara Fly Tree top is about 10mins. The delicious Robertson Pie 3 mins drive. Must try lemon tart and chunky beef pie.
Anyway, overall we enjoyed our stay.
Highly recommends this camp site if you want to explore around the area.

Great spot! My friends and I really enjoyed staying here. Make sure to visit the Carrington Falls area, it's very close to the campground and it's beautiful. There's a flush toilet in the campground. Cliff -the host- is very responsive, which we really appreciated.

Peaceful and central location. We were a bit limited with national park exploration given we had the dogs - so something to keep in mind even though the camp is dog friendly. Easy to day trip to various points on the coast. Note that it is right off the tourist drive but it’s not particularly noisy and we were fortunate to have the area to ourselves. It appeared that there were other camps further into the property which were more secluded. We didn’t realise this so would probably look for one of those if booking next time. Otherwise a great stay!

Nice enough spot with a decent outlook on a clear day you can see the city if you walk to the right of the paddock and look out between the two trees.
The site is open and fairly quiet. The cows come over for a quick look when you arrive, then wander off.
Access is through a gate with a code lock, so you’ll need to call Anthony for the code before arriving. There’s also a sign on the fence saying “No Trespassing / Private Property,” which was a bit confusing at first.
Firewood is listed as provided and there is plenty of dead wood around to collect. Overall, an okay spot if you know what to expect.

Awesome site!! Everything was as described on the description for the site. The campsite was completely private and secluded. Toilets were clean. The recommendation for Deet was put to good use but did not diminish the beauty of the site. Would definitely try to book again if we are camping in the area!! Thanks Cliff!
