This award was based on camper reviews, high quality of experiences provided and 95% property wide recommendation rate for 2023. Our Facebook page is “Pringy’s Farm Balnagask” for the latest news, activities and new ventures. Pringy’s Farm “Balnagask” is located 20 kilometres east of Moree, on the banks of the Mehi river. Escape off the grid and enjoy the peace and quiet the country has to offer. Our farm features beautifully manicured grass camping sites (as well as more natural sites) an abundance of wildlife, native birds and lots of fun farm animals. You can relax around your campfire in the evening, enjoy a special sunset, spectacular star gazing or some interesting nocturnal wildlife. The farm is almost 200 acres which features sustainable pastures and plenty of animals to see and feed such as miniature goats, a donkey, Texas Longhorn cattle, chooks, rabbits, sheep and many more depending on the season and what is happening on the farm. We are happy to introduce you to the animals and share some information about them. We have three crazy Tenterfield Terriers; Maggie, Bart and Beagle who will occasionally visit you for a cuddle or a sit by the fire. Your socialised pets are welcome but must be on a leash at all times and campers must clean up after their pets. What we offer..... We offer animal spotting night tours (see Extras or ask your host) OR adopt and care for the farms guinea pig and rabbits for the duration of your stay. That’s if your parents agree!!! Don’t miss the opportunity to try and purchase some unique handmade “Eurah” soap (indigenous ingredient) made on site by Belinda. Farm produce is available when in season and abundance, this may include: - organic free-range eggs, fruit, vegetables and herbs. We offer 2 well maintained campsites and a newly renovated house (The Old School House) for farm stay holiday rental. The perfect location to fully enjoy the peace and tranquility of the countryside. Our beautiful property is located near Inverell, featuring 1,850 acres of gently sloping farmland edged by mountains with beautiful eucalyptus bush. There is a big dam and yabbies in the creek. We have a range of fruit trees which you are welcome to help yourself to fruit when in season. Farm Rules - clean up after yourself - The hut and the yard up on the hill are out of bound. - Fishing is welcome however we run a catch and release. - Shut the gates when passing through. - Dogs are welcome but must be under control/on lead as we do run cattle on the property. - No hunting. - Fires are welcome but must be contained and kept under control. Activity's - Being a kayak or something to float around on. - Bring your metal detectors - Horses are welcome with the addition cost. Enjoy scenic horse rides around the valley. - Fishing (catch and release) - Yabbies (welcome to eat what you catch). - Panning in the creek for gems. - hike Sites - we run a undesignated system meaning you can set up and camp anywhere you would like however some ideas below. Anywhere around the dam You have an option to camp at the shed where there is a generator for power (lighting) and toilet amenities. This area is generally flat and can accommodate any type of camping vehicle. There is a shed to provide shelter for your food prep etc. There is a sink under the awning but you will need to carry water in a container to wash dishes. Outside there is wood-burning BBQ the camping paddock is fully fenced in . For 4WD enthusiasts, there are good camping spots at the top of the mountain ridge however need to be self contained eg toilet. You will need to bring your own fresh drinking water supply and unleaded fuel to run the water pump and generator. We have secure cattle yards as a holding space if holidaying with your horses (please see Extras for horse facility fees). Enjoy scenic horse rides around the valley and relax in front of the campfire by night. Dogs on leashes are welcome. There is no phone reception on site There is a pub in Bundarra where meals hospitality and spending time with the locals and a corner store 25km away at Bundarra, and all shops and amenities are available 75km at Inverell.

A fully operational property running a mix of enterprises including livestock and manufacturing. There is approximately 3km of Manilla river running through the property. Sites are private and easily accessible. Pets welcome but must be supervised at all times. Animals found disturbing livestock will lead to guests being asked to leave immediately. This is a working farm and this should be respected. Sites are able to cater for larger groups of people with plenty of room. Plenty of room for kids to run around and play. Plenty of areas to walk and enjoy the river and the wildlife. It would be appreciated if vehicles are not driven around the property and are contained to the main entrance roads.

Simply amazing stay. Honestly I enjoyed my stay here. It’s so beautiful and peaceful. The soft breeze and the morning song birds. Plenty of sites to choose, most flat over looking the river. Priceless! Host Pringy is a wonderful and friendly bloke. He made sure we were Okah and checked in on us. Cute dogs and a cheeky cat as well as farm animals. Toilet was super clean and the outdoor shower was cute and fun to use. I would definitely come back.

We stayed here for one night on our way down to southern NSW and really enjoyed it. The views were spectacular and made it feel like more than just a quick stop. Rohan was a friendly, helpful host and made everything easy. We had no trouble finding level ground for our caravans, and the power hookup was conveniently located. The toilet was a flushing one and honestly exceeded our expectations. The river was a bit low for swimming, but it was still nice to sit in and cool off. We wished we could have stayed longer just to relax and enjoy the surrounds.

We loved camping at Pringy’s farm. Belinda and Pringy were so welcoming and the kids had the best time seeing all the animals (especially the dogs). The camp spot next to the river was stunning and the nighttime stargazing was incredible.

I had a lovely afternoon and night in Pringy's paddock in my hammock. The bird life was stunning, as was the night sky. It was extremely peaceful. Pringy was a good bloke and popped by to make sure all was good, otherwise I just sat around, played my banjo and enjoyed the serenity. I had an awning on my car which was necessary for shade. It would have been very hot in the afternoon without it. Easy to find out from Moree. Highly recommend for night sky and bird watching enthusiasts.

Pringy and Belinda have done a fantastic job in setting up this HipCamp. The 'funky little caravan' was clean and quirky and the camping spots are in a great grassy location by the river. There's a lot to love about this place, but we especially enjoyed the bird life, the everlasting daisies, and their cat Ralph! Pringy and Belinda were so friendly and went out of their way to help us. Thanks for a wonderful stay! We look forward to coming back!

We had an awesome time at Pringy’s farm. Col and Belinda were such fantastic hosts, and really great with our kids. They took the time to make us feel welcome, and ensure we settled in. The only thing we could have hoped for was more time! When we apologised for us being noisy (we were the only ones there), Belinda said not to worry, and that she loved the sound of kids having fun…such a refreshing response! The variety of animals, the creek outlook and the daisy field made it all the more enjoyable. When my wife commented that her soul felt full after 1 night, I knew we must have been onto a winner!
