It's an excellent area for mountain bike riding as well! Kayaks/push bikes available for free. Don't have a caravan, we have partnered up with Wrighty's Caravan Hire and Repairs. They offer family caravans delivered, setup ready for you to enjoy. Pets allowed but you must have on lead when walking around the property near cattle. Note a maximum of 2 dogs per camp site. Recycling bins are provided, otherwise campers are required to take their rubbish with them. Wi-Fi and Telstra coverage are available. Rainforest Gateway is located approximately 8klms along Grady's Creek Road, just 20 klms north of Kyogle and 15 klms from the Queensland border on the popular scenic tourist route, Lions Road. Kyogle is a bustling town with an IGA supermarket, MTB riding tracks, lovely gift shops, cinema, bowling alley, and a selection of dining outlets. For those wanting to immerse themselves in nature, the Border Ranges National Park is a short drive away. Please note Lions Road is temporarily closed for road repairs and expected to be reopened late January 2026. We are a short drive to dine at Wiseman Ferry, and only 11 minutes from the local Woolworths. Or enjoy a beautiful walk at Fagan Park in Galston. Your camping/van area is supplied with red/bins. 2 Portaloos available at the front and back section. Dogs allowed but please let me know first. They will need to be on leash all the time and well behaved. Please pick up after them ANYWHERE they go toilet and also they must be vaccinated. No cats allowed. A campfire during permitted times is allowed but only in the fire pits. There is loads of dried kindling and small logs around the property otherwise please bring your own. ALL Sites have fire pits. CHILDREN are to be accompanied by an adult at all times if walking around the property. Beautiful spot to relax, with loads of wildlife and bird watching. Please use bins supplied and leave no trace. * There are 5 allocated camp sites. Two are easy(2WD & Vans/trailers) access and have the direct view through the valley. Three require high wheel clearance vehicles (just small hill to drive up with some rocks), these are more private sites(cannot see the other campers) still with lovely views. What an absolute pleasure staying here. The river was something out of a fairy tale, with plenty of spots to perch up in the shade and read a book and go for a dip when you felt like it. The area is lush with different vegetation and felt like a dream to be in and around. Ricky and Cheryl were amazing hosts providing us with everything we needed for firemaking, and Cheryl's farm animal tour was fun and educational about homestead living. 10/10, will be coming back here with friends for sure.

Nice quiet location. Under the stars at night. Friendly hosts. Kayak and kids bikes available to use at no cost. Firewood and fire place delivered to your campsite at small cost. Gorgeous river to cool off on or kayak. Toilet was very clean. Highly recommend for a relaxing and quiet camp with the family. Easy road access to the farm. Great directions and lovely host. Beautiful surroundings of water and cane fields. Activities available on site. Shower, toilet facilities and great space between camp areas. Fire pits and wood available for cash purchase from Steve. Made the stay very relaxing and enjoyable. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a wonderful stay at this campsite. The host was extremely kind, helpful, and responsive whenever I called, and gave clear directions that made getting there very easy. The campsite itself was beautiful and peaceful, with a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Would happily stay here again and definitely recommend it to others.

What an incredible experience this was. A short one night only trip, but will absolutely be back. The cleanest drop toilets I have ever seen, free kayaks to explore the clean and clear river, and a farm tour to feed the animals. Our kids had such a fun time feeding all the animals including horse, donkey, goats, rabbits, sheep. The onsite caretakers were really nice and very helpful. Thank you for sharing your property with us, can't wait for our next trip.

This Hip camp was amazing ! my daughter had the best time with the bikes and kayaks and all the beautiful little turtles everywhere . the animal feeding was a hit for both my self and my little girl the baby rabbits baby lamb and the cheeky donkey . definitely do your self a favor and get some eggs . i would give it a 10/10 THANK YOU !!

This is our 2nd time here, it’s so relaxing, we did the farm tour, kids love feeding the animals. Caretakers did a great job. Drop toilets are flash and very clean. Used the kayaks that are supplied to go for a paddle . We have already booked our next stay here,

We had such a lovely time at Bundilla river camp! Beautiful large shaded sites on soft ground, right next to the river. My son loved his farm tour given by the caretaker Wayne, and he and his wife were wonderful hosts while Cheryl and Rick were away. Yes there are compostin(drop) toilets, but they were cleaner than most public toilets! We will be back for sure, could have easily stayed a week.
