The dangerous dog in question bit 4 people in less than 24 hours. Including my husband twice. You know your dog, But you cannot predict what another campers's dog is going to be like. Any dog on the NSW dangerous dogs list is absolutely not welcome here. Free use of fire pits and free firewoods. You will need to be split the logs yourself. axes and wheelbarrows are supplied. Hot showers and decent toilets, Good mobile phone signal. Two Communal Fridges .There is lots of space for campers. We have two sites with shade, four without. We suggest you bring a decent quality gazebo or equivalent. If you choose a non-shady site and then it's sunny, it is beyond our control. We are located on a dead end road, so very rare to have any traffic after 8pm. PLEASE NOTE: 1) We ONLY ALLOW ONE camper trailer or ONE caravan per site. From record rain to drought conditions in 3 months. Because of the earthworks there has been a bit of dust, which we have tried to control with grass seed and then no rain.... once each section of earthworks is done. Shade trees are being planted. But they are slow to grow. 6) Please check weather report a minimum of 7 days before you arrive and CANCEL your booking if you are not sure. 7) We cannot control the wind, the sun, rain, or lack of rain.

Please pick up after them ANYWHERE they go toilet and also they must be vaccinated. No cats allowed. A campfire during permitted times is allowed but only in the fire pits. There is loads of dried kindling and small logs around the property otherwise please bring your own. All Sites have fire pits. CHILDREN are to be accompanied by an adult at all times if walking around the property. Beautiful spot to relax, with loads of wildlife and bird watching. Please use bins supplied and leave no trace. * There are 4 allocated camp sites. Two are easy(2WD & Vans/trailers) access and have the direct view through the valley. Two require high wheel clearance vehicles (just small hill to drive up with some rocks), these are more private sites(cannot see the other campers) still with lovely views. Our property is situated in the locality of Rosebrook, a fertile area steeped in a rich dairying history. We're only 10 minutes from Maitland and 25 minutes from the Vineyards, but the privacy of the camp site makes it feel like you're miles from anywhere. You've got direct access to the Hunter River with a sandy beach, great swimming holes and it's perfect for a peaceful kayak up or down stream, dependent on river levels at the time of your stay. Bring your own kayak or use ours for a small fee. For those a bit more adventurous, we take you via road to our drop off point and you paddle downstream (a leisurely 3 hours) until you arrive at the beach near your campsite. There are heaps of places to stop and have some lunch and a swim on the way. The site is a drive through level, grassy area and easily accessed by 2WD vehicle if you're not towing. For caravans and camper trailers, a 4WD is recommended but it's pretty easy going. Pets are welcome, but MUST stay within the site paddock if not on a lead. Our neighbours have stock and it's important we are always respectful toward them. A garbage bin and recycle bin is provided but you will need your own toilet. There is a designated area for a fire (when conditions permit) and we can supply firewood if required for a small fee. We’ve kept things simple and natural because that’s the way we like it. It’s a true bush camp — plenty of space, plenty of privacy, and no fuss. We just ask that everyone who stays treats the place with respect and leaves it as they found it, so the next campers can enjoy it too. Whether you’re here for a quiet weekend, a bit of fishing, or just to switch off from the world for a while, this is the place to do it. So come on out, take a deep breath, and slow down for a few days. You’ll soon see why we love it here and why it’s hard to leave once you’ve settled in.

We had a great stay at Iggy’s! The site was beautiful with lots of options to choose from in terms of campsites (sheltered, open air, bushy, meadow). The location is great - an easy walk to the beach and town amenities but feels very secluded and private. Nathan was lovely to deal with and very responsive. Would stay again, thank you!

We had a lovely quiet time at Fame Mountain.. great facilities and plenty of space with a lovely view over to the hills. We took our (big) dog and he enjoyed being able to roam around offlead. Mei is a wonderful friendly host, as is John - there to welcome us and help if needed. They are doing quite a lot of work to develop and improve the site at the moment so it's sure to be even better in the future. Very close to Tea Gardens and Hawks Nest and yet you feel as if you're quite remote - wonderful dawn chorus from all the birds!

Epic views! Mei was lovely from the first message! First nights sunset was amazing. Little noisy during the day due to improvements being made to the property but was advertised. Plenty toilets and showers. We were the only ones there first night aswell which made it more special. Would recommend staying even just for 1 night.

Beautiful secluded spot, was perfect for our large group as we had it all to ourselves. We particularly enjoyed using the kayaks, canoes and surfboards on the river next to the campsite. Lots of thoughtfulness put into the hand painted signage- felt very personalised. Thank you!

Fantastic campsite! We loved camping here. It was very windy - a real test of the gazebo 😅 The views were beautiful, free firewood much appreciated, lovely setting and great location close to beaches. Our dogs also loved their stay. The kids had great fun on the trampoline. And the fridges and warm showers were a real bonus. Jon and Mei were great hosts. We’d love to come back.

Super cute winery with lovely staff. We had a wine tasting and the grounds to ourselves on a Sunday night. Night amenities and power. And they showed us right to our spot. Special mention to the winery dogs.
