Our property features 113 acres with 1.3kms of Clarence River freshwater frontage with a beautiful herd of 30+ horses roaming over the land. Come and feel the deep peace of this beautiful property. Horse Lovers Camp offers plenty of space to pitch your tent or your off road caravan for a special getaway amongst our horses. Meet our horses, and book a horse ride/experience under our Extras. You will be camping on the edge of the mighty Clarence River. With over a kilometre of river frontage, if horses aren’t your thing why not go for a swim, throw a line in or go for a paddle on your kayak. Hop on your mountain bike and explore the hills. There’s so much to explore on our property and in this beautiful region. Warm your feet around the campfire in the evenings as you gaze at the stars above. At the moment we only welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower and drinking water. You must have your own amenities. Well behaved pets are welcome to camp with you, however if your pet chases livestock and horses they’ll need to stay on a leash at all times. Please note that you will need a 4WD to access our property, and 4WD caravans and camper trailers are ok. If you’re unsure about your vehicle please message us for a chat. The Ranch on Clarence is the sister business to The Ranch Byron Bay and we offer Equine Experiences.

Site was beautiful and host was very friendly. Loved having the horses in the paddock and had a wonderful Easter long weekend !

Swan Lake
Beautiful camping spot in a perfect location. The bath tubs were amazing overlooking the river. Shanti was very accomodating and helpful. The kids had so much fun. We loved our stay.

One Hour River Ride
My husband and 2 daughters (all beginners) had the greatest fun and wonderful experience riding with Shanti. It was very relaxed, the horses were great, and beautiful views. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Swan Lake
The Ranch on Clarence is an amazing hidden paradise! The Swan Lake site is heaven - overlooking the river with breathtaking views - with swans constantly landing! The kids loved the fire baths - Couldn’t get them out. Shanti looked after us and we had an amazing horse ride on her beautiful horses. Couldn’t recommend it more. Take me back!

Two Hour River Ride
I had such a lovely visit to Shanti's ranch. The land and the horses are otherworldly in their calm beauty. Couldn't recommend this experience more highly.
