Welcome to the Blue Lagoon, our very own piece of paradise, we cannot wait to share with you. Situated on over 100 acres in Upper Orara, just 20 minutes west of Coffs Harbour. The beauty of this place is that it's a private campsite, this stunning waterhole is all yours to enjoy, with only one booking taken at a time. (Note: The booking is for 2 people for the entire site- then a small extra charge for additional guests) This magical waterhole has crystal clear spring-fed water, where you’ll be able to enjoy spotting fish, turtles, and a platypus along with stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing, bird watching, bushwalking, and simply relaxing. IMPORTANT: The camp is for self-contained campers only. You MUST have your own toilet, water and take all waste with you when you go. This is non-negotiable. The nearest dump point is in Coffs Harbour. PLEASE NOTE: The property lies on river frontage and is subject to flooding in heavy rain. Please check in with us 3 days prior to arrival to confirm conditions. In the case of flooding, a full refund will be issued, or an alternate campsite on higher ground may be available. The photos display pristine blue waters, which is what is so magical about this place. However after heavy rain, the water colour can change in appearance. Campfires are permitted in the designated fire ring, when local restrictions are not in place. FIREWOOD is available to purchase. BBQ LAMB packages are also available to purchase. Please note - We are not a commercial campground.Enjoy having your own private waterhole to setup your caravan, camper trailer or tents, with water views of the blue lagoon. I’ve been wanting to experience the blue lagoon and let me tell you it was everything I’d imagined and more. It’s booked out 6 months+ in advance for a reason. We have already locked in our return visit and this time we made sure we book it for more nights!

Probably the best campsite we've ever been to. Perfect setup for our 19.6ft van. Kids absolutely loved it. Paid a little extra for the stone hot tub; it was well worth it.

We loved our stay and can’t wait to come back again. Such a beautiful spot and it’s so good having the place to yourself. What a gem! Laura was also amazing, she is so lovely! Definitely recommend.

Fantastic area very accommodating for a large caravan. Highly recommend the stone bath , photo’s don’t do it justice. More beautiful than you can imagine.

Omg the best camping spot ever! Super lucky to snag a cancellation one night when scrolling through hipcamp! Stayed 3 nights on this stunning property! Laura and Dougie were awesome to deal with and easy to get in contact with, will definitely be booking next year! Probably my most favourite spot yet, couldn’t fault! Definitely pay the extra for the bath!

We love the Blue Lagoon it's peaceful and the water is beautiful all year round. Lovely hosts who do everything to make the stay the best it can be. The additional of a hot stone bath takes it to another level. Looking forward to our next trip.

Only stayed one night but wished we could have stayed several. Fantastic location. I think Russell Crowe will definitely be using it as a film location when the coffs harbour studios are up and runnning. A very peaceful private relaxing easily accesible spot close to Coffs Harbour. Great for kids or small groups. Laura was very helpful and friendly. We`ll definitely be back

Loved every part of this camp! Laura was so accomodating and welcoming when helping us check in. The site itself was so beautiful and being able to swim and see the bright turquoise water was one of the highlights from our stay. Would 100% come back to this site and stay for longer.

What an epic, good for the soul little camp. In all honesty when booking I thought it was a little exy for a paddock camp with no amenities, however, this little lagoon was well worth every penny! The water is as clear as the pictures, there are plenty of spots to explore with platypus, turtles and even deer to be spotted. Laura was the perfect host. She was extremely helpful, kind and just all round easy to deal with. We can’t wait to come back again soon!

Hands down my incredible camp we have ever been on, most amazing camp site, very well maintained and the crystal clear blue water is to die for, the free to use paddle board is a bonus was so fun to use, even having a walk upstream was nothing but amazing, will definitely be back but staying for a much longer time 🙂 thank you so much Laura for being a great host and very welcoming. 11/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Still in awe at this place. Absolutely magical. We stayed two nights and had the most amazing time. Our three year old loved it too, the water was so cold but that colour… wow. Left me speechless every time I looked at it.

We had such a great time camping here. The camp was private and peaceful, perfect for unwinding. The water was absolutely crystal clear! There were cows on the property which added a really lovely farm vibe. My 19 month old was totally fascinated by them! We loved how quiet it was. Just a really simple, beautiful place to spend time outdoors. Would definitely come back!

There’s a year wait for a reason. We can’t imagine a nicer place to camp. We went with two 3year olds and they had a blast. The host was very helpful and very responsive to all messages. We will be back for sure!

Oh my. This is one special place. We bombedddd it all the way to Sydney and back for a single night here because we didn’t wanna miss out. Laura and Dougie are the COOLEST PEOPLE. Amazing property. Amazing people. We will be back!!

Not only is the land absolutely gorgeous, the family that owns and runs the campsite are so nice and accommodating answering any questions you have for them and working around tricky weather. I cannot recommend them enough! Can’t wait to come back :)

We had such an incredible time here, it was our own private paradise. The scenery was absolutely stunning, and the crystal-clear water was even better than the photos. There was so much space! The hosts provided everything we could need for fun and relaxation: canoes, floats, a stand-up paddleboard, a rope swing, hammock, and more. We caught fish, spotted turtles, chilled by the fire and spent hours just enjoying the peaceful beauty of the place. The hosts were really lovely! We got to purchase meat from the family farm. We didn’t want to leave, and we’ll definitely be back. Couldn’t recommend it more!!

We loved our stay here! Laura was a great host! Highly recommend trying some of their lamb was super delicious! We had lots of rain during our stay but was still sooo beautiful. Great swimming spot and very spacious! Thanks for having us :)

Australia’s best swimming hole. Came out here to film for my @terrain.scout project and was blown away. Hosts are legends, camp is epic. Don’t let the price deter you. Absolutely unbelievable. If I haven’t booked out the calendar forever with the video… I will be back. Thanks again Team 🍻

The Blue Lagoon is amazing! Heaven on Earth is how I would describe it. Apart from the amazing water and scenery surrounding this camp ground we loved the fact that you have it all to yourself. Laura was so helpful and accommodating, we can’t thank her enough. Can’t wait to return later in the year. Thank you for having us stay at this Paradise Laura.
