Sure you can hunt or spend a revved up day on the Missouri River, but we think the quiet trails filled with bald eagles, cottonwoods, and mushrooms you can pick are the way to go. There’s plenty of spots for picnics and overnight stays in the sandbars comfy campgrounds. Nearby Desoto Wildlife Refuge makes a weekend here full of fun and fauna!
