Fishing is allowed. Bull Creek also meanders lazily through the property. You will have access to go hiking and exploring. There are deer, turkey and other wildlife on the property. Beautiful remote location with complete privacy. Only an hour drive to Destin/ Ft. Walton Beach.
It’s only a short, few minute drive to the Alabama/ Florida State line and the southern boundary of the Conecuh National Forest. A great getaway and seclusion at it’s best.

Our camping experience was awesome. Patrick’s Dad Pat met us at the entrance to the property and led us to a beautiful secluded spot. He also drove me around property to get me acquainted to the many acres available for walks. The property was extremely well maintained. It was renewing to have such a quiet property to enjoy walks, fishing (if interested) and star gazing. Everything as far as hookups was easy and we so enjoyed listening to birds, reading and relaxing. No cell service or WiFi but you will not miss it if you want to enjoy nature and solitude. We definitely would return for future visits.

Definitely will be back again!! Patrick met us and helped us get all setup and made sure everything was good before leaving. Had the best time, so peaceful and private. Never left the site. Caught small bass and beautiful bream. Seen deer and lots of ducks. If you are looking for a restful and private retreat then this is the spot for sure!!

We had a wonderful time here with Stacy and Aaron. Celebrated our 26th anniversary on a beautiful sunset horseback ride. I can’t thank Stacy enough for accommodating us, we were a very late arrival and they were so very helpful. We can’t wait to see them again.

It was the most beautiful calming 24 hours that I could have ever hoped for. This place is beyond amazing beyond beautiful it's actually breathtaking. I absolutely recommend this place and I look forward to booking a stay here again and being able to stay longer than I did. If you need some rest relaxation and a good reset this is the place to go. The host Samantha never missed a beat in communication either and was most wonderful and customer relations. I give this place 20 Stars not just five not just 10 but 20

Samantha's place was quiet and private. If you're looking for somewhere to relax in a quiet setting this is it. The water was low in the pond. You could tell the water used to be much higher. It has a boathouse and a boat launch that hasn't been used in years due to the low water that no longer comes close to them anymore. Maybe the spillway needs repairs. Samantha is very sweet, kind and very responsive. I would stay here again.

The farm and the lake are absolutely gorgeous! It just feels different being around lots of animals and nature. I had no issues finding the place and slept like a baby. The communication with the hosts was fast and efficient. I give this place a 100% 5/5 rating! If I go to Pensacola again, I will definitely stay here and maybe bring some of my friends next time :)

We had a great time at the KOA. I hope the KOA sends me a review request so I can tell everyone that I met the second best Lincoln. Lincoln at the office made the visit so awesome and easy. Bathrooms were really clean and pool was heated and fun even when it was cool outside. It is right off I-10 so if you don’t realize that, and hate the noise, you can hear traffic. But it’s fine. Some one did come around and turn lights on in the other empty campsites and they are bright. We assumed it was for people coming in but no one showed up. We did go turn them off and no one got mad at us. Bottom line. It’s a great place.
Everyone that works there is really nice and willing to help you if you have any questions.

Steve is a great host. Every time he saw me he asked if everything was ok and did we need anything. When we arrived he went over the spots we could camp in. We were there for 30 days. Close to shopping and a short drive to beaches. His dog is very friendly and visits every day.

The camping spot was honestly a hidden oasis. The scenery and the privacy blows sites like Bear Lake or Fort Pickens out of the water. The lack of amenities is compensated by the beautiful animals you get to see (and hear), and by the stunning views of the sun on the water and the stars at night. I could not have asked for a better experience.

Where to go
Florida Caverns State Park
About 100 miles northeast of Fort Walton Beach, rainwater eroded bedrock for eons, creating the limestone cave system of Florida Caverns State Park. Open year-round (but closing each day at sunset), the park offers guided cave tours among sinkholes, stalactites, stalagmites, and flowstones—just show up early, since tour tickets are first-come, first-served and sell out fast. Hipcampers can also enjoy bicycling, hiking, and boating on Chipola River. Stay nearby at pet-friendly tent and RV campsites with 50-amp hookups.
Little River State Forest, AL
Northwest of Fort Walton Beach, just across the border to Alabama, sits Little River State Forest. Hipcampers will find 2,100 acres of longleaf pine and a man-made dam and spillway that created Little River Lake—perfect for swimming, fishing, and boating (rentals available in the park). Little River State Forest has RV and tent campsites with electric and water hookups and primitive, backcountry camping anywhere in the park. Ride a horse through gorgeous pine forests, slide down the spillway, or look for quail and bobcats during the day, then retire to a furnished cabin at night.
Deer Lake State Park
Deer Lake is a rare landscape formation of coastal dune lakes. In Deer Lake State Park, campers explore growths of Gulf Coast lupine, spoonflower, and pitcher plants all while witnessing the migration of birds and butterflies. Three dollars per vehicle in the honor box allows campers to stroll the boardwalk across the dunes to find the perfect picnic, swimming, or fishing spot in warm Gulf waters. There’s no camping in the park, but campsite options nearby include pet-friendly RV campsites with potable water on pull-in and back-in concrete pads, dirt pads, and grassy fields.
When to go
Summers at Fort Walton Beach last from May to the end of September, with the temperature averaging 85°F. Expect cloudy skies, increased rainfall, and high humidity. During spring and fall, temperatures usually stay around 65°F and drop no lower than 45°F. Many campers may prefer to camp from September to October or April to May to avoid the humidity, but lots of campsites and resorts are open year-round.
