The weather is warm and the site behind our pool is a nice space to be!
It is lovely to be in a space where you are the only camper! The tropical gardens provide privacy and abundant bird life. The property is safe and secluded in the rural suburb of Virginia.
We are situated in the Darwin Rural area on 5 acres of bush land with tropical gardens and a saltwater swimming pool.
There is a variety of bird life, lizards, frogs, and possums. You can feed our friendly butcher birds and King Fishers on the fly from our verandah or pool area. Sit with the fish pond and chat with the turtle who is very shy!
We have dogs that live at the property so pets on application only. (we do have a dog cage available if required and can pet sit for a day if required )
We have caravan sites for fully self-contained caravans and unpowered sites in the horse yard. There is a single shower / toilet block available at the top of the driveway.
We do have power to some sites, and we would appreciate it if you do not leave air conditioners running while you are off site.
If you are travelling in a group, we can accommodate you in a large open area if your group would like to stay together. Each caravan site has its own fireplace for your use.
Only 5 minutes from Palmerston or Coolalinga, 25 minutes from Darwin CBD.
If you are looking for a local fishing tour, we can hook you up with the locals.
We have many fishing and crabbing locations close by on the Elizabeth River, Middle Arm or around Darwin Harbour.
Local Fred's Pass Food and Craft Markets are open Saturday and Wednesday night music and food

We (the owners) live on-site, about a three minute walk from the Van sites. We have also started a little coffee shop at our main camp so you can find us there most days.
We are located just 8km from Wangi Falls, one of Litchfield's largest and most iconic waterfalls. For most of the year it is open for swimming. There are also several other smaller water holes nearby. Most water attractions are accessible by car. If you do have a 4WD be sure to go off-road to visit the amazing, less accessible sites.

There is however enough space for 3 - 4 vehicles with vans so if you are travelling with your mates as a group you may book for extra vehicles. We are just 15 minutes to Robin Falls, 20 minutes to Litchfield National Park's southern entry*, 30 minutes to Adelaide River, 45 minutes to Daly River, and about 1 hour to Butterfly Gorge. You will have plenty to see and do throughout your stay with us.

Beautiful and peaceful site, clean facilities. A bonus were two very friendly resident dogs who came to say hello every time they were out. Strongly recommend when exploring Darwin or surroundings.

Yes I would recommend Middle Camp. Lovely spot with great Amenity and water pressure. Especially loved the outdoor private shower. Perhaps our timing could have been earlier in the season as it was very hot and a lot of March flies. But all said it’s a lovely area.

A beautiful, well looked after site. Not expensive and allows you to explore all the nearby national parks too!
Such a lovely area and the campsite is perfect! We ended up staying here 4 nights in the end :)

Beautiful property. Great size sites. Free washing machine and amazing outdoor shower on your site. (Hot shower in amenities block).
Definitely bring the repellent though. March flies and stinging green mozzies were very friendly

Nice and green, in the dry, private, dunnys and laundry near by. Great shower on powered site.
Great fire place, plenty of wood around. But please let people know when a TOTAL FIRE BAN IS IN PLACE.
How are blowing like me suposti know when it is total fire ban.
A quick SMS it people already booked would
be a good idea.

The camp area was perfect. The use of the pool was a bonus. Because of the time of year we needed power for Aircon. This caused a few brownouts. The caretaker was very responsive and reset the power every time we asked. Thanks again 10/10

Great grassy site, pretty secluded. Powerered site was a treat for those hot days. Potable water & outdoor shower. We stayed here for 2 nights to check out Berry Springs which was about a 5 min drive away. Very refreshing, temperature was lovely. IGA was well stocked.
