This is a great location. Only 8 miles off of route 66. I will say the road has a lot of washboards so be prepared to go slow for the last few miles. But other than that a super good host, private, quiet, and an amzing experience. I highly recommend it to anyone on route 66 and wants to have a great night sleep

Donna's land is wonderful, as is she (and her dogs!) Lots of petrified wood and quartz just laying around, and the sunsets are absolutely gorgeous! The sites are private but not far from the road. Getting there involves a few miles of dirt road, but 2 wheel drive easily accessible. Donna met me at the gate and showed me to my campsite. She returned a few hours later to help me out with a car issue (blown fuse) and gave me some tips on what to see on her land. I wasn't sure how my german shepherd would react to her dogs - she has 6 - but all are friendly. And they all got on famously with my Danica! We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back when it cools off - it was still about 15° cooler than Phoenix! Also, Danica saw her first horse. She wasn't sure what to think, but at least she had the opportunity! Thank you, Donna!

i loved donna’s land!! i made sure a late arrival was okay but she was completely flexible with it, and showed us directly to our plot of land for the night. the night sky was absolutely beautiful. we were able to fit a 2019 hyundai santa fe so any low clearance vehicles will fit fine.

Peace and Quiet

A peaceful and a very quiet place. I also felt extremely safe on this property. The juniper trees are just gorgeous and you can walk for miles. I had no problems getting there in my 2 wheel drive. Donna helped me pick out a wonderful spot where I had the most spectacular sunsets.

#2-Open space for all Rigs

This is probably my favorite Hipcamp, ever. Donna’s horse just showed up out of the blue, stood on the other side of my camping mat and listened to me chat about my day! I went to hike to find some old turquoise mines that Donna told me about and she (the horse, not Donna) even followed me a bit! The rocks all over the wash and property are show-stopping. The petrified wood, plants, and mountains are all beautiful, and Donna is so helpful and kind. I’ll be back for sure!

Very private and pretty!

If you like being alone and surrounded by nature, you will love this place! Definitely off the beaten path as is evidenced by the rough dirt roads (easily cleared by low profile cars), but it’s a beautiful drive through the valley. Incredible sunset and sunrise with plenty of opportunities to hike. Donna met me at the gate and took me out to my campsite.

Donna absolutely welcomed us on to her personal land. She described areas to hike and placing to see. Her pups were a joy to see and very friendly. We plan to make another trip in the future to see her lovely property. Very close to Kingman and the Colorado River in Bullhead.

Easy drive to the ranch. Donna(amazing lady) came to open the gate and lead us to the campsite on her land. She explained everything except you’ll need to ask the spirits for permission to stay on their grounds.
