Beautiful and secluded! This site was completely private with acres (I think he said 4 acres) to roam. Enjoyed walking the property/paths and seeing animals and trees. There was a fire pit, water hose, picnic table and lights up. Jay and his daughters were very personable and helpful!
Note: there was not a toilet available nearby.

Really secluded awesome camping! If we didn't want to see another human being the whole week we were there we wouldn't have to!
Take Jay up on his walking tour of his farm and learn about agriculture! Not to mention his sampling of all the fresh fruits and berries!
Plenty of firewood to be found on property, enjoy this spot!

My friends and I really enjoyed staying at Jay’s campsite! He and his family were super helpful and welcoming and their farm is beautiful! We would definitely return!
What a find! This place is so peaceful and relaxing. My site was so private and my dog could chase the ball without interaction with other dogs. Jay was so accommodating and accessible. I bought the lavender and fresh herbs. They were divine. Stop here if you get the chance!

Jay is a great host, and this private site was exactly as advertised. It was a great jumping off point to explore the greater Eastern Shore area. Left with bundles of lavender and eucalyptus.

Beautiful camp site clean easy to find. host responds messages quickly plenty of room and electricity.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Jay was there to meet us to show us to our campsite. He was very friendly & welcoming. Our site had electricity, a porta potty, outdoor sink & fire pit. Site is private & quiet. Make sure to purchase a bundle of their homegrown spices. Jay is a great host!
We had a great time at Jay's Farm. It's a very secluded and rustic stop on our roadtrip back home. They even had a flower bouquet for us!
Would highly recommend!

This is a great place to camp! It's very private and quiet. The star gazing is great. Our spot was very shaded and wooded with electric hook ups and a hose. The hosts are very nice and communication was easy.

Our weekend at Shine & Rise was exactly what we needed! Jay was super responsive and I highly recommend getting the farm tour - my partner enjoyed asking questions about the farm and it was the perfect end to our trip. Campsite was spacious and Jay provided a large picnic table and a toilet for us which was great.
Short drive to Cape Charles and Savage Neck and there’s a Walmart 9 minutes away if you forgot anything.

We enjoyed 4 nights in our camper on Jay’s property. He was a great host providing us with lots of firewood for our campfires which we cooked on every day. The campsite is secluded, peaceful and we were able to visit lots of eastern shore sights from the property. Jay gave us lots of recommendations of places to go which we appreciated. Our dog was happy to be able to run around the property, too.
The site was exceptional. It offered a private setting and a stage. Additionally, ample firewood was provided.
I highly recommend it.

Jay is a super kind host. I felt totally safe and comfortable at this perfect spot tucked away - both close to the road and secluded feeling. Had a nice fire and got a good rest. Super grateful for the opportunity to stay here after visiting Assateague and got a great recommendation for a local hidden gem along the bay. 🙏🏼💚

Jay was super helpful, the clearing where one camps is really lovely, tall trees all around you. At night there is a string of light high in the trees that light up the camp, they are dim and add ambiance. Definitely recommend the camp to those that like basic camping.'
