Welcome to Big Sky Country with fabulous sunrises and sunsets everyday. My 35 acres sit at 7500 ft elevation with 360-degree views for miles around, including view of the snow-capped Uintas. No neighbors (unless you count the occasional cattle or sheep as it is open range). Starry skies, red cliffs, sage seas, junipers, howling coyotes: the Wild West at its best. Pull in your RV or pitch a tent. Lots to see and do in the area. The Piedmont ghost town and kilns are 15 minutes away. The majestic Uinta mountains are 30 minutes to the southeast on the Mirror Lake Scenic Byway. Check out the local bison herd (including its famous white bison) at Bear River State Park in Evanston. While there, walk around the Historic Depot Area and the Union Pacific Roundhouse and Railyards further to the west. The downtown stretch along Main St. is step back in time and the site of our local brewery (Suds). Up the road on I-80 is historic Fort Bridger. Fishing available at local reservoirs and Bear River.

Welcome to Sandstone Ranch where you'll find yourself surrounded with all of the high desert beauty it has to offer. Wake up and wind down to beautiful pastel sunrises and sunsets. Explore the stunning rock formations and steep cliff sides that lead into seasonal river beds. You'll be surrounded by juniper trees, pine trees, sagebrush and cactus. With numerous rivers and secluded access to Starvation Reservoir you can enjoy many recreational activities such as Fishing, Boating, Kayaking, Jet Skiing, ATV off-roading, hiking, mountain biking. You can rent Paddle boards or other camping gear/goods from us for an extra fee. We also offer a personal off roading tour for those who seek a unique adventure with our Sand Dune Jeep Safari. Our family of 6 took the leap and left the city life in order to reconnect to the land on this 11 acre property. We are in the beginnings of our homestead journey and hope to create a space for guests like you to enjoy our animal rescue, camp retreats for groups, classes on herbalism and camp for kids where they can learn basic survival skills. It is this love for nature and the gifts that it offers to us all that we want to share our land with others. We currently offer 1 Tent Site with a fire pit and an outhouse. There is also a large flat pad for parking an RV or if you're wanting to camp out of your vehicle you are free to use this space. We will be expanding and offering more sites in the coming months. This is wilderness camping so be aware that there is wildlife and that roads are bumpy. We have 4 curious dogs that may check you out, they are friendly however may bark and if you have pets of your own let us know so we can keep them from pestering you. We bought this property in 1998 put a house on it and have enjoyed our backyard which is Hoyt Peak where we can four-wheel or snowmobile or mountain bike right out our driveway. The view out our front yard is deer Valley ski resort. You’re welcome to park your trailer in our driveway and enjoy our amenities.Learn more about this land:One mile up a dirt road with easy access to Wasatch National Forest directly from our driveway. Hiking, mtn biking, and ATV riding are all possible. Countless mountain lakes and streams nearby in Mirror Lake Hwy. Park City is 20 minutes away. Salt Lake City is 50 minutes away. DeJoria center is five minutes away with a nice restaurant, free concert series, and excellent recreation.

This is a very natural place with awesome rock formations, abundant wildlife etc. I did find an ancient axe head years ago in one of the crevices. Up above camp is a rock formation I have always called "Mike Rushmore". Learn more about this land: This is a really cool place and I get a lot of compliments from those that have been here or have seen it. It's a hikers paradise with lots of rock features, sandy areas, tons of trees, wildlife and all the beautiful plant life of a high desert. The lake is close by for Fishing, kayaking, boating, or just a good ole swim about 10 minutes away. So, here is what you get on my 15 acres. Me, as your host to show you around and let you pick from several spots available where you would like to camp on the upper 5 acres for RV, truck, tent,, etc. I can accomidate whatever. For those that want the natural experience I suggest down below. So cool. There is no one right next to me to the north, south, east, or west. Very private. It is off grid..
