Sandy beaches and clear spring-fed water. Right on the Llano River. Close to Austin, San Antonio, Fredericksburg, and Enchanted Rock.  Riverfront tent and RV camp site with electricity. Perfect for families and couples looking for an easy and peaceful retreat on a quiet country road.

500 Waves Beach Camp offers a huge covered deck with table and chairs and a view of the Llano River.  Riverfront fire pit, tetherball, and gas grill available. Four people maximum. Your group will be the only campers on site.

Direct access to prime Llano River fly fishing, wading, and tubing.  Terrific birding and wildlife viewing. Take an easy stroll to a scenic low water crossing.  Kayak downstream from County Road 103.  Explore the riverbed for miles or just relax in the river. Bike historic gravel backroads to quirky Castell.  Cruise into Llano for live music, local vodka, shopping, or the best BBQ in Texas.  In the spring our wildflowers will make you weep.  Enchanted Rock State Natural Area and Fredericksburg are a short drive to our south.

Portable toilet cleaned weekly.  No parties or groups.  500 Waves Beach Camp is located on a quiet river road with a few small cabins. There are usually very few (if any) other people in the riverbed or on this section of the Llano River.

This is a beautiful and peaceful spot on the Llano river. Jason was super helpful throughout the process and accommodated my same day reservation kindly. I mostly wanted a spot to take some deep sky photos for the night, but I really enjoyed the river and being in the elements. The stars were beautiful. There are a couple neighbors - its a large lot and not a ranch. Some of the neighbors have street lamps which is not ideal at night, but they didn't get in the way of my pictures or milky way views. I hope to return when it warms up outside!
