Description

When you come to camp at Colonel Denning State Park, you’ll probably drive through an interesting “S” turn where Blue Mountain doubles back on itself. This is where the area name, Doubling Gap, comes from. Doubling Gap is a beautiful wooded area with the Doubling Gap Lake at the center of it all. Around here is where you’ll find the campground, which is conveniently located near more outdoor activities than you can shake a hiking stick at. Hiking, fishing, swimming, grilling—this place has it all.
