We have three camp sites on a 200-acre parcel of secluded, rural farm land. We are a working pasture based farm where you can see how grass fed beef, pork, chicken, and eggs are produced. There's nothing quite like fresh eggs and bacon after waking up to the sunrise over a fog-filled valley! When you arrive we will provide a complimentary carton of pastured raised eggs and you are welcome to visit our web site (redhouseranch . net) or store to order meats for your stay and/or to take with you upon your departure. We have a wide variety of grass fed beef, pasture raised pork, snack sticks for long hikes, and dog bones and smoked treats for your furry friends. Many of our items are well suited for campfire cooking. Keep in mind that all our products are frozen so be sure to plan for time to thaw. If you're not sure what that involves - we're here to help. We are a working farm but, much of our property is not grazed or farmed. You are welcome to explore the entire area while also getting a glimpse of sustainable, pasture-based, farming methods. Learn more about us and the history of the farm at our website. As you roam the hills and forests you'll eventually bump into some of our animals. Please do not enter the animal enclosures or touch any of the electrified fence lines. If you really want to pet a piggie or hold a chicken - just reach out to Ike or Dave and we will gladly arrange this for you. Red House Ranch is also the perfect spot for wildlife enthusiasts and bird watchers. During your stay you may encounter eagles, blue herons, coyotes, turtles, wild turkeys, foxes, the endangered bobolink bird (its unique call sounds a bit like R2D2), deer, great horned owls, and many unique plants. It's not uncommon to hear the coyotes howling at night. In addition to hiking trails with incredible views, there are four ponds on the property easily accessible with mown paths. One is very large with a dock and suitable for swimming, paddling, fishing, or just relaxing but the water. The other three are smaller and are now primarily wildlife habitat. easily accessible with mown paths If you're feeling adventurous, there is a more strenuous hike down into the creek bed where you can find miniature versions of the gorges and waterfalls that our region is known for. This site is designed  for large self driven RVs or pull behind trailers.  Easy pull through parking. It is also perfect for tent campers. Lots of flat space overlooking the huge pond. If our other camp site is booked you will be very happy with this one. This is one of three camp sites on our 200 acre parcel of secluded rural farm land. The sites are a 1/2 mile apart and you can't see either site from the other.   What's it like parking here?  There is no one else parked next to you. No one else's blaring music or camp fire smoke, or noisy kids to listen to.  You will hear only birds, insects, coyotes at night, maybe geese, ducks, turkeys calling, foxes barking, bats chirping, frog croaking, wild cats, yes they are here also.  You will only hear your music and natures music.  It is a unique RV location just for YOU alone and secluded. Full DISCLOSURE, this is a former natural gas well site.  It is flat and has an easy access road.  However there is some pipeline piping sticking up from the ground that is behind where you would park.  We think the benefits of solitary parking out weight the pipe line hardware.  If you are curious you can walk right up to it and take a-look.  It is no longer in use but we still find it an interesting artifact of our societies endless need for energy.    We have a working pasture based farm where you can see how grass fed beef, pork, and chicken are raised (including pasture-raised eggs). Campers are welcome to visit our web site and order your meat and eggs,  red house ran ch. net. This is one of three camp sites on a 200-acre parcel of secluded, rural farm land.  No need to worry about less than perfect weather with this tiny house. Dave built this tiny house for the most comfortable camping experience. No need to worry about bad weather. There is only room for two to sleep inside...it is a tiny house. This is new site which is why here aren't many pictures or reviews. We had a beautiful weekend camping at the farm! The tent campsite is serene and had the most stunning view. The firepit was perfect for cooking, and the compost toilet was clean and easy to use. Dave kindly met us Saturday morning with eggs from the farm and gave us great tips about exploring the area. We felt very welcome and look forward to returning!

We had an amazing time at the Red House farm! The tiny house is perfect for two, and the place is incredibly quiet. It's especially beautiful at night when stargazing! The land is big enough to walk around and say hi to the farm animals. Even saw deers and porcupines. We highly recommend it if you're looking for a simple, quiet gateway not for from Seneca lake !

This is such a special place! The pond-- amazing swimming! The views. The peace. To say nothing of the dozen eggs as a welcome gift. Even the outhouse is smartly designed. Really. And I am dining on a purchased cut of beef from thier farm. I cannot recommend this lovely sanctuary highly enough!

An absolutely wonderful stay! Ike and Dave were wonderful hosts. There was so much to do between meeting the animals, walking along the mowed paths, and swimming in the pond. The views were amazing, especially during sunrise. We will definitely be back!

We have stayed here several times. Every visit just gets better. Ike and Dave are so friendly, prompt replies to messages, very clear instructions. The property is simply amazing. Everything we have tried at the meat store is so good. The high quality is apparent in every bite. Red house ranch is my favorite Hipcamp!

The hill top tiny house was awesome! There is an outside heated shower that worked really good. I love primitive camping but to be able to get a shower was such a treat. There is electric powered by a generator but it is super quiet. The shower is gas activated by the water being turned on so no electricity necessary. Honestly didn’t use electric much. Nice knowing it’s there though. Another great sight from Ike and Dave. Incredible hospitality. Looking forward to another trip up there! And of course the views and privacy are spectacular!

Panoramic view of hills and meadows. Grazing cows, pigs, and chickens, shade under a beautiful maple tree with lots of bird visits. It doesn't get any better than that! Oh, and a firefly show that was better than any fourth of July fireworks.

absolutely spectacular location and incredibly friendly hosts! i’ve never experienced such incredible stargazing, even on other trips where I specifically sought out stargazing campsites. The animals were so cute, and it made me feel safer as a newbie camper to have their presence somewhat nearby. I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s so special and I can’t wait to come back!! In terms of check-in and communication: - The videos showing how to get to the campsite were so helpful and made checking in a breeze. - it was so convenient and delicious to buy food directly from the farm store. - the hosts gave us a printed out map to find our way around the property, and the nearby pond was so refreshing and amazing

Ike and Dave were very responsive, providing pictures and videos to help get onto the property and supplied us with a steady mound of firewood. The views were absolutely insane. I cannot recommend this property enough. Stunning sunset and sunrise each day and a clear night sky full of stars. If we are ever in the area we 100% will be booking again here.

We had such an amazing time here! My boyfriend, my roommate and her partner, and our dog all came up for the weekend — it was absolutely gorgeous. The site was spacious and private; we couldn’t see anyone else around, which made it feel so peaceful and perfect for a quiet getaway. It did get a bit chilly at night, but that just added to the cozy campfire vibes. Dave and Ike were incredibly hospitable and welcoming — and the fresh eggs were delicious! Would 100% recommend this spot to anyone looking to disconnect and enjoy some beautiful open space.

This was our second time staying at Red House Ranch and once again we loved it. We had a wonderful weekend enjoying the beautiful views and the peaceful setting. The kids loved the swing at our site and spent most of the weekend taking turns on it. We really appreciated how accommodating Ike was and the ease of communication with him. The eggs they gave us were delicious as well. We enjoyed spending some time fishing at the pond and caught quite a few! There is something so special about this farm and we hope to come back again and again.

We stayed at Red House Camp for the weekend with the grandkids. The kids loved exploring the trails and visiting the animals. Ike was very responsive and helpful with my questions before hand. Dave was there to guide us to the tiny house and checked the fuel in the generator multiple times a day. He provided guidance about visiting the animals and exploring the farm. He was so available to purchase some farm fresh meat. The tiny house was quite comfortable. They allowed us to bring our camper and park next to the house as our kids stayed in the house. The views were beautiful with the moon settling in at night and the sunrise with the fog rolling in and out in the morning. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay at the tiny house on Red House Ranch, we did not want to leave. Ike and Dave made sure we had everything we needed and the cabin amenities were plenty. Outhouse was clean and the shower was hot, temperature in the tiny house was optimal. There were plenty of outdoor chairs and firewood for our stay, the complimentary eggs were delicious and so were the meats that we purchased from their store. Could recommend this stay enough, especially if you like having morning coffee with the cows.

We had an amazing time! Even with a slight hiccup on arrival, Hosts Ike and David were so sweet and helped us get our meat and egg order before dinner time! We had such a fun time walking around the property, through pastures and woods! Got to meet the cows and pigs, so we will have to be back for the sheep and goats! Thank you Red House Ranch, for an amazing night under the stars!

Beautiful view! Plenty of level grass for tent set up. Nice large picnic table and fire pit. Having potable water available and rustic outhouse are a huge bonus! Ike and Dave are very welcoming! Enjoyed learning about their farm, hiking their land and took home a cooler full of meat!! Will definitely be returning!!!
