Great spot! It felt very secluded, with just the beavers for company. Rachel and her husband were very welcoming.
Sacred Hollow is a dream. Secluded, right by a little pond, an area to set up a campfire by the tent. Rachel was away but Brian was there to greet us. He's an excellent host - friendly, welcoming and was always available to answer any questions. Even though it rained for most of the weekend, I never found myself wishing for better weather because Sacred Hollow is truly just that wonderful.
Garden of One is truly a magical place. My husband and I just spent 2 nights at the Sacred Hollow site here and had an amazing experience. Prior to our arrival, Rachel was quick to respond to all of my questions and when I ran into a snag when trying to change camp sites, she worked on my behalf to get things straightened out with HipCamp making it a nonissue.
When we arrived, she and her wonderful husband Brian met us right at the parking area and gave us a warm welcome. Brian brought us to the Sacred Hollow site, tucked away at the back of the property and we got a lovely tour of the grounds. Be aware that this site is about a 10 minute walk (my husband made it in 5!) to the parking area but the terrain is mowed, manicured and very managable. We quite enjoyed the seclusion! The site is large enough for a group or family to romp and play, but for us it was as cozy as could be. Our hosts had thought of every detail and we were pleased to find a user-friendly and fully stocked kitchen area with fresh water, propane stove, cooking utensils, and a wash up area. Your tent is large and durable and featires a front porch and nap-inducing hammock. The potty area is as good as it gets without running water and everything was explained to us before we settled in. At this site you have your own beaver pond (with toad symphony) steps from the tent as a backdrop to your campfire site, yet the huge lake is also just up the hill. The 8 acre lake is what camping dreams are made of and from our complimentary canoe we happily whiled away an afternoon paddling and fishing for beautiful bass and sunfish.
The town of Middleburgh is an easy drive to venture out to pick up ice and other amenities if needed; we forgot blankets but the Dollar General had our backs! Enjoy the slow summer days at your private site, but before you leave, be sure to check out the baby chickens, goats, ducks, geese, and kittens at the main house. That's also where you'll find the three best friends you never knew you had, the Garden of One dogs!
The space and hosts are well worth the drive no matter where you are and we couldn't recommend it more.

Totally blew away our expectations. They provided everything we could have needed. 10/10

Garden of One was a great place for camping with our family. My husband and I were used to camping before we had our 2 boys and the Sacred Hollow glampsite was set up so nicely that camping with 2 little boys was made easy. Everything you could think of and more was available including fun lawn games that we enjoyed. There was plenty of room for the boys to run around. The property was so beautiful and situated around a serene lake you could canoe on. We loved that there were other accommodation options including a yurt, lakeside cabin, and the moonlit chalet. My sister, mom and brother-in-law stayed at the chalet which was perfect for enjoying nature with extra comforts. Some of our favorites things were sitting by the bonfire, visiting the faery glenn, canoeing to visit the chalet from our campsite, and awe-inspiring stargazing at night. Finally, Rachel & Brian were so pleasant and helpful. The space they have created is perfect for all looking to unwind, reflect, and enjoy time in nature.

Beautiful place, the grounds have several areas to camp. Very private and lush.
A nice, secluded spot on a large piece of property. The owners are really nice, and we had a great weekend!
We stayed in the late fall with our two beagles and had a great time. The beaver pond was serene with the fire pit on the edge. We felt really secluded, though we were only about 5 minutes from the car. Really enjoyed our stay
Beautifully scenic, we were so excited to find that the canoe could be used to help us transport our camping stuff across the gorgeous lake. Brian and the dogs were wonderfully welcoming and accomadating. Magical place, make sure you wake up early enough to see the beavers!
