Nestled on the eastern river flats of the Bellingen Valley, Riverwood 383 invites you to experience the unspoiled beauty of the pristine Bellingen River, set within the heart of a working farm. Settle into your own riverside camp spot, where you can cast a line for fish and mud crabs, launch a kayak into the tranquil waters, or simply relax and soak in the serenity. Set out from Riverwood off our boat ramp in your dinghy or small motorboat and let the river guide your adventure. Drift quietly into hidden fishing spots where the waters teem with life, or follow the current downstream to the picturesque village of Repton. For a different journey, turn upstream and wind your way to Bellingen, where the river snakes between lush green flats and rises into majestic mountain backdrops — every bend offering a new view, a new moment of calm, and a deeper connection with this timeless landscape. Riverwood is ideally located halfway between the country charm of the town of Bellingen and the coastal beauty of Urunga — just an easy 8-minute drive in either direction. Spend the day exploring Bellingen’s cafés, markets, and culture, or head the other way to Urunga for pristine estuaries, beaches, and ocean breezes. As night falls, drift to sleep under a canopy of stars, with the gentle sounds of the river and the peaceful company of cows nearby—a true farm-meets-nature escape. The ACCESS road to our campsite is flat and easy to navigate, though it is unsealed. For this reason, we recommend arriving in an AWD or 4WD vehicle for a smooth and comfortable journey. The campsite is basic, there are no facilities. Guests will need to provide their own toilet facilities. There are free public Dump Points available in Bellingen, Urunga, Mylestom and Coffs Harbour A mains WATER tap is available for use upon request, though it is located a short distance from the campsite. Welcome to Elly's Corner, where your getaway begins! You'll have the choice of a flat, grassy space without a designated spot, just in the general area of your booking. Enjoy the serene banks of the Bellingen River, perfect for early morning tranquility and stunning sunsets. Whether you're into fishing, crabbing, kayaking, or exploring with your tinny, you'll find a boat ramp that leads into the river, making it an excellent base for day trips to the beautiful valley and the coast of Urunga. Our guests share the space while maintaining a comfortable distance from each other. Please ensure you bring your own toilet and power supply. Self-contained guests must take their waste with them and leave no trace behind. For your convenience, there's town water available at the main entrance, accessible via a tap. During wet conditions, the entry can become muddy, so a 4WD is necessary to access the site. Feel free to bring your firewood or collect some from the paddock. We encourage you to camp alongside the river not in the middle of the paddocks. Feel free to explore the riverbank and the paddock! Please be mindful that the working cows in the paddock are not used to people, please do not feed. Dogs must be on a lead when the cows are close by. For waste management, the Raleigh Waste Management Centre is located at 146 Short Cut Road, Raleigh 2454, Waste Dump is situated at Morgo Street, Urunga NSW 2455.

We live next door and have 23 friendly chooks—guests are welcome to collect and feed them. Fresh eggs can also be delivered for $8. Cows are working livestock and not used to people—please don’t feed them. Dogs must be on leads when cows are nearby. Waste disposal: Raleigh Waste Management Centre – Short Cut Rd, Raleigh Waste dump – Morgo St, Urunga Relax, explore, and enjoy the serenity of Solly’s Star Camp.

An amazing tranquil spot with shade, beautiful big trees, River front and green grass at Ellie's corner with easy access to the river for a quick dip or to drop a line in. Google maps (slightly embarrassingly) took us to the the property across the road, which is actually owned by the same family. Make sure you drive down to the right when you're driving from East to West. There is no property on the campsite if that helps. No toilets either so need to be self sufficient there. There is a public toilet about 5 minute drive towards Bellingen if needed! Thank you for having us!

If you’re looking for a peaceful grassy spot near a beautiful river where your dog can have fun, then mark this as a favourite. Booked I. For 2 nts as a stopover away from the crowds in January - and was a great choice. Thanks for opening up your property Norah, we loved it!

What an absolutely fabulous spot! The campsite was quiet and serene, tucked right by the river with a beautiful grassy bank that made it perfect for our van and 4WD. Waking up to the sound of flowing water and birds was magical. Plenty of space, grassy sites and the river views were stunning. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature, this is the place. Close to Bellingen and a lovely winery nearby where we had a great lunch. We highly recommend this place.

Absolutely beautiful spot with lovely hosts. Hubby fished (successfully!) off the banks right in front of camp every day and I set up my hammock under the sheoaks and enjoyed quality time with my son. The eggs were delicious! My one negative would be that the grass was a little long and we were worried about our 1 year old and our dog in it coz we wouldn’t be able to see snakes coming. Other than that it was perfect and we wished we had booked for longer!

Beautiful location right on the Bellinger River. Close to Urunga and the historic Bellingen village. Quiet and tranquil. Even there were another 5 vans on the property, everyone had enough distance and privacy which is fantastic. There are mozzies around at night so don’t forget to pack repellent. Great and easy to launch a boat, kayak etc right by the campsite. Norah is very helpful and prompt to reply if you text with any questions etc. Location was easy to find with clear instructions from Norah. Highly recommend for such a convenient yet private and tranquil site. Will definitely be back again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Riverwood 383 – Bonnie’s Paddock. From the moment we arrived, the setting exceeded our expectations. The paddock offers beautiful, peaceful river frontage, making it ideal for swimming, kayaking, fishing, or simply relaxing by the water. We enjoyed launching our kayak straight from the bank and spent hours exploring the gentle bends of the river – it was truly a highlight of our trip. The site itself felt wonderfully spacious and private, with plenty of room to set up camp without feeling crowded. The natural surrounds create a real sense of being off-grid, while still being close enough to town for conveniences and access to local attractions like Bellingen’s cafes, shops and beaches. The hosts were welcoming and communicative, providing clear arrival instructions and helpful local tips. We appreciated how easy check-in was and how responsive they were to questions before arrival. Facilities were exactly as described – simple, clean and suited to the nature-focused experience that Riverwood 383 promises. We came prepared for minimal infrastructure, and it made the stay feel more authentic and back-to-basics, which we enjoyed. Overall, this was one of the most scenic and tranquil camping spots we’ve visited. Whether you’re into fishing, boating, or just unwinding beside the water, Bonnie’s Paddock is an excellent choice. Highly recommended, and we will definitely be back!

Tassy's Bushlands
Camping at Tassie Bushland was very peaceful and quiet, only one lot of fellow campers there at the same time. Where we were camped it was easy to fish off the bank. Short drive to Bellingen where the shops were interesting, and the local pub served lovely food.

Beautiful spot!! Incredibly peaceful and relaxing. The hosts were welcoming and accommodating and we absolutely loved our stay. We were in a 21 ft caravan and got in very comfortably. Fantastic location and highly recommended!

What a beautiful location! We absolutely loved staying here. The hosts were incredibly friendly and made sure we were all set up. We had the place to ourselves, and got to watch a gorgeous sunset take place as we cooked up the evening meal over a fire. Highly recommend.
