Description

Gushing with angling allure, Goshen pond is forked between Mullican River and Atsion Road, rippled with healthy populations of river-located game fish. But, just like the area’s grouping of primitive campsites, there’s not much in the way of frills―or running water.

Really lovely camping area! Once arrived, the camping was perfect for a night out of the city.

However...I won't be going here again by bike, and I don't recommend anyone else go by bike. You have to walk all your stuff on a deep sand road for about a mile, minimum off Atsion Road (there are alt. sand routes that are longer). I know it's the one of the closest campgrounds to Philly, but if you're biking there, it's worth going somewhere else.

This is a gorgeous spot and feels very secluded. Be cautious with your car as some of the roads are deep sand.

Our walkin was big & close to the water. Pond is beautiful w/ pickerel weed, water lilies, & mirror like water. Good for canoeing. Edible berries were all around. There were no picnic tables at the walkins but we were fine. Beware of chiggers. Great spot!
