Pitch your tent, set up your trailer (limited electricity), or dry camp and enjoy the peace and beauty of the country. Our farm boasts of being family friendly by providing a kid friendly play area, picnic tables, a fire pit with a cooking grill, and fresh vegetables to pick. Farm fresh eggs and fresh honey available from our neighbors. We're in the country but close to all the amenities. Three beaches on beautiful Lake Huron within 10-15 minutes, canoe and kayak rentals nearby, a dog park and walking/biking trail within 2 miles. Staying with us you have your choice of staying in a wooded area or out in the grassy field. While you're here you can enjoy your day at any one of the wonderful things this blue water community has to offer, pick fresh vegetables from our almost 2 acre garden, or just sit and relax. In the evening enjoy the use of our fire pit or build a bonfire. We have wood available for purchase. Sit back and enjoy the sounds of nature while the fire flies glow about and you have a clear view of a star filled sky. You can visit bluewater.org and see all the amenities in the area. Our vegetables are all started by organic seed and we use all natural practices, no harsh chemicals, in their care. You can also get fresh eggs laid daily by happy, healthy hens or fresh honey from our neighbors. Water is available by spigot and hose; porta-potty near the barn.

Michele was a great host. Though we never met in person she made herself very available via messaging, coordinated someone to greet me, and answered all of my questions. The farm itself was quaint and a perfect place to pitch my tent for the night as I traveled through the area. Would recommend!

Here's the deal: You want to stay here.

I wasn't sure what I was getting into, but the Simpson Family farm is a fantastic place. It's a family run farm, so they know what it means to take care of things.

I was kind of nervous, I've never done this before. They set me up with electricity and wifi. Then they left me alone to relax. They've got an honor-system fresh produce area, and a cat that will keep you company.

If you want a low key relaxed place to stay, this is an awesome get away.

Will certainly be back

Michele was a great host and very kind. Because of a wet spring, the options were limited but still very functional. Our children loved the farm, the fairy garden, the tire swing, and all the space.

Thanks Joseph! We were sorry there weren't more options but are glad to hear the family enjoyed themselves. I hope you'll consider us again!

There’s two types of people in the world,

The people that are going to Port Huron, and know they should stay here

And the people who haven’t discovered that fact yet.
