Select your own available space by a small stream , camp on the lawn, or park your camper or motorcycle and stay closer to the entrance. Our staff lives on the grounds and water can be accessed via hose to fill containers. We provide porta-potty and dumpster. Access to a shower with the staff house can be arranged. No electrical hook-ups but great exposure for portable solar panels. This is a functioning Animal Preserve; we will be going about our daily routine, which you may find interesting. No frills primitive camping, yet very unique. Use this as your home base while you explore all this region has to offer.

I camped here a number of years ago and had so much fun, I suggested that Heather create a camping program. Waking up to sounds of nature is something I will never forget. I got a close up feel for the animals here, and also took advantage of the Moose Encounter program. While this is no longer part of the programming, there are plenty of others available. The staff was helpful and friendly, and I learned a lot about the different animals living there. . . including some animals who retired from TV or zoos. Everyone there seemed knowledgeable and was happy to answer my questions. The setting was rustic and comfortable. I need to go back!
