Description

Kolomoki Mounds State Park Campgrounds in Kolomoki Mounds State Park is the oldest and largest Woodland Indian site in the southeastern United States. In addition to a variety of outdoor activities—lakes for fishing and boating, scenic hiking trails, a children’s playground, and miniature golf—campers can also visit the park’s museum, which was built around an excavated mound, and learn about the livelihoods and traditions of the Indians that lived in this area between 350 and 750 A.D.
