Chinchilla Country Camping

Nice host, the nicest bloke but there are permanent residents there with their rubbish everywhere, borderline hoarders & when we set up one of them turned up their house music full ball in the hopes we'd move from booked site - which we ended up doing. We didn't even end up staying, went down the road to Charlie's Camp which was amazing. Definitely don't recommend.

Amazing amenities, the friendliest owners and a great community feel. As a single female travelling on my own, I felt safe and comfortable enough to ask for help from the awesome people that live here. 10/10

Not quite what was expected

Booked the site as the Hipcamp site indicated the camp only had 6 unpowered sites. What it did not say was that there were also about 8 semi-permanent occupants, which was a surprise. They were mostly quiet, so was ok. On positive side, hosts were very friendly, facilities were clean and grass was good to camp on. But, I would wait till after April as the area is hot and sunny during the day.

I loved camping at Peter & Annette’s. The property is well maintained and a lovely camping spot. The amenities are fantastic and cleaned regularly. I would definitely recommend this camp spot and will be back again when out near Chincilla. Thanks Peter & Annette

Easy access only 2km from Warrego highway with heaps of space, large drive through sites and sqeaky clean unisex amenities blocks. Give it a go, you will love it.

Stopped for an overnight and had a flat drive through site with power and water. Site was grassy and the on site facilities were nice and clean. Was able to have a fire on our site. Peter and Annette seemed like great people. They took our kids over to help feed the lambs in the afternoon and morning which was cool

Hidden gem campsite!

Chinchilla Country Camping is a hidden gem! It’s just out of town so it’s lovely and quiet and all the facilities are in great condition. The amenities block is spacious and there is an undercover outdoor kitchen. Peter and Annette are lovely and make their guests feel very welcome.
