Had our teardrop trailer and two small tents on site 2. Worked great. Right beside river. River provided white noise to block out most road noise. No one in site 1. Outhouse very clean. Great hookups. Easy access. Close to town. Nice setting.

This site is great! Although it’s very close to a busy road, the stream blocks most of the car sounds out. The portapotty was very well kept, well stocked and easy to access. I was actually quite impressed with how clean everything was! We stayed in site one in our campervan and had a great night playing cards at the table until turning in. The creek really helped lull us to sleep. I wish there wasn’t a fire ban, but we respect and abide by the local ordinance for the safety of the area. Beware of wildlife like raccoons, and maybe keep trash in the car until morning so they don’t get into it overnight. Regardless, the site felt very safe, secure and clean. I highly recommend!

A short but sweet stay. Clear directions, cute little creek next to sites.
Some reviews mention highway noise and while it is close to the highway I didn’t think it was a negative. The creek was loud enough to overpower it.

It was exactly as described. It took us awhile before we could make the turn without missing it, as cars are speeding down pretty fast and it’s a small sign to turn on their road. Unfortunately we hit cool, rainy weather so my dreams of relaxing by the river with the kids playing did not come true but in warmer weather this site would be really lovely.

We had a blast and would recommend this spot. What I would tell my friends: the spot is clean and well maintained. The bathroom is clean and smells good (for a portable-potty). There is NO internet/phone signal. The rushing creek is AMAZING!! The road is close by and loud if your sleeping in a tent (it woke me up a couple times. Rent BOTH spots… it make the experience WAY better! (They are very close together). Overall we loved it!

I had a wonderful time coming here! The private creek access is truly amazing, and the site is very well setup with water and electricity, plus bathroom and trash/recycling. The campsites are very neat and level with lots of room for parking and activities. It's also very close to Leavenworth, which make visits easy!

Perfect stay away from the crowds with lovely creek. Site 1 was private and site 2 was empty during our stay. The outhouse was super clean. Great having electrical hookups and water. The only negative were the pesky yellow jackets. There is an active trap out but they are crazy this time of year. I would however def return. The nearby road is busy but not a problem at all, trees hide the road and river is louder :)

The host was responsive to our question about arriving early. As other reviewers have noted this site is close to US 97 so for us living a rural life it was a bit distracting. The creek symphony and a bluetooth speaker mitigated the road noise. We stayed at site 1 in a 22 ft airstream and our dog was off leash and loved the water access. We rented both sites and very glad we did since the 2 sites are only 10-15 feet apart. We were glad we had no other campers because you never know whom you may end up. I think there should be a discount if you rent both sites otherwise the price is similar to the premium RV Park in Leavenworth.

We stayed for one night at Camp Flussfelsen. We loved the creek that flowed right past our campsite (as did our dog). The power and water both worked well. The camp rules and instructions were very clear. I have two suggestions: 1) The turn into the camp is not well marked. Heading south on 97, there's a sign with a jumping deer right before the driveway. That makes a great landmark, and it would have kept us from missing the turn. 2) The string of lights by our site looked very cool, but they never came on. If we were supposed to do something to activate them, that would have been good to know. Thanks for a great experience. I expect we'll be back!

Beautiful spot by a beautiful creek off highway 97. So there some road noise. No cell/wifi service. Had a lot of ground wasps which could have been due to the time of year.

Beautiful site and location! No cell service, which was fine. Had a lot of ground wasps that made it hard to eat outside but was probably due to that time year. It is just off highway 97 so you have road noise.

Site & Outhouse clean upon arrival! Host quick to answer even when not on site.
Last year we stayed late June and we needed to avoid the creek, this year, mid July, we were able to play in the creek with our 7 and 3 yr old boys. So fun.
The sound of the creek is peaceful

We had a great stay at this campsite! It was super clean (even the porta potty) and had everything we needed. The river was so nice to be right next to and the string lights were so cute in the evening! Super close to Leavenworth, too!

Its close proximity to Leavenworth and perfectly set up camp sites make this a great spot to camp while visiting the area. The creek is beautiful, too! Camp sites are close together, so we reserved them both and had the place to ourselves. Great for dogs, however, with the highway close, we kept ours on leash. Road noise was a bit of an issue, but we are used to country quiet, so may not bother most campers. Sites are all set with gravel, and power/water, picnic tables and fire rings. Outhouse is super clean and serviced regularly... really appreciated having that, as well as clean trash and recycle bins and even dog pickup bags! Hosts were super responsive and helpful. Thank you!!

Very clean well kept area. Not overly secluded as there are other sites but once you settle in the river blocks out everything. I would recommend this stay for any level of camper.

Convenient location to Leavenworth. Hosts were communicative and accommodating. Porta potty smelled great! They have bistro lights set up on the perimeter of the campground and it was such a nice touch. It is right off the 97 but the creek counteracts any road noise. It was perfect for what we needed!

My wife and I spent a few peaceful days at Flussfelsen in our 19' travel trailer. The setting is lovely and having the stream (Peshastin Creek) right there was a natural white noise machine. We had another group next to us but it was very pleasant and there was plenty of space to spread out. There is some traffic on Rt 97 but it didn't keep us awake and with the stream being 25' away we barely registered the traffic sounds.

We enjoyed our stay at camp Flussfelson. We recommend site #1. It is on the end with woods and creek on one side. The site was very clean, with a clean porta potty, trash/recycle receptacles, And safe and secure. The hosts provided very clear driving directions. It's right off highway 97 so there is some road noise. This is a great base camp to visit Leavenworth. We will be coming back. Thank you!

Absolutely incredible!
The sites look like the photos, the directions were clear and easy, and the hosts were wonderful. It always feels like a dice roll staying at unseen sites, and thankfully it was clear when pulling in that we lucked out!
As previous reviewers have mentioned, the two sites are fairly close to each other. I highly recommend renting both for optimal privacy. And if you have a rig that is up against the maximum length for the site, definitely get both so you have options when parking.
The creek is right there, and the best part. Even with the highway being close, the creek noise dominated the scene which was very welcome. The property owners were on the same property, in a tiny house along the road to the sites. Super friendly and never a privacy issue.
We hope to come back and stay again soon!

We loved our stay here, the site had everything we needed! Loved using our hammock on the river bank, used the firepit both nights, and breakfast at the picnic table in the sunshine. Such a relaxing stay. I hope to be back!

Great location! We booked one site for our travel trailer and some family booked the other. The area was clean- might be the cleanest port a potty I’ve ever seen. The creek runs right behind so even though you’re close the highway, you don’t hear it at night. Maybe 10 minute drive to Leavenworth. May need to book here again. Thank you

This site is AMAZING! We visited in May, so the water was running too quickly to wade too far in - but having a site that is level, easy access to electric, water, and a fire pit with the consistent sound of the river was golden. Hosts were kind and communicative. Quick trip to Leavenworth for anything you forgot. We’d love to come back!

Sitting on the bank of this rushing river is an immediate stress reliever. It was very beautiful and so nice to have power and water. Very close to the cute little town of Leavenworth so you can explore it during the day, then come back to this beautiful place in the evening. There is a tree line that separates the campsite from the road, which was heavily trafficked, but the river drowns out most traffic noise. A sign at the turn in would be nice as it was a little difficult to find. Not hardly any signal if you are on the Verizon network. I received 1 bar of signal for about an hour, then nothing.
