Oakley is a Great town to visit. Oakley features Victorian style houses built in the 1800s which are very amazing to look at. There’s also a great new swimming pool and park to visit with a playground. We are also located 15 minutes away from the world famous City of Rocks National Park and Castle Rocks National Park. We have beautiful sunsets almost every night. We also are 10 minutes away from the Oakley Reservoir which has great fishing and kayaking there’s plenty of mountain roads to adventure on and see wildlife.

The yurt is well built, spacious and cozy at the same time. The mattresses were so comfy. The full kitchen and roomy bathroom were amazing! The land is beautiful, and I loved listening to the creek and waterfall.

Our second time staying here at this cute yurt, and it did not disappoint! The flowers were in bloom & there is a new fire pit. Such a lovely experience! This is our go-to stop for our long journey half-way point. Thanks again!

1 night at Creekside Retreat
This yurt was the cutest and coziest place ever! Most houses in the neighborhood have friendly, curious animals like cows, pigs, horses, and chickens that made our stay feel so inviting. There's a stream that runs near the property, just close enough to offer a pleasant sound while relaxing at the outdoor fire pit.
Inside, there are plenty of amenities even considering it's compact size. A full kitchen, full bathroom, a couch with a TV and plenty of board games, and a roomy bedroom with a comfy bed!
The hosts were friendly, and the site was easy to find while still tucked away just enough to feel very private. Overall my husband and I had a wonderful stay, it was the highlight of our honeymoon roadtrip!

I loved this yurt! It was secluded in a group of trees right next to a creek. They gave us pancake mix for breakfast and just let us enjoy our time.

we stayed here for the second time in about 10 days (on each end of our xmas road trip). joshua was a wonderful host. he made sure everything was ready for us, the lights were on and pellet stove was on so it was nice and warm when we arrived. the first time we stayed, we arrived on xmas night and there was event a little xmas tree out front lit up which was a cute touch and the kids enjoyed it, even though we were all tired by the time we got there. there was plenty of room for our family. the yurt is pretty spacious and very clean and modern. the kids enjoyed the tiered bunkbed and hot coco in the keurig. we had everything we needed to make food and enjoy respite on our journey. joshua is a very thoughtful and responsive host. we will definitely stay here again when we pass through the area.

This is a lovely, clean, modern yurt in the country. We really enjoyed staying here one night on our road trip. The dogs in the area were barking throughout the night, so we did have to use the earplugs provided (thank you!). I will probably use a noise machine next time. Other than that, this place is fabulous and the hosts are very thoughtful and kind.
