The private bath boasts large glass shower stall and deep bathtub. His n hers vanity. Walk in closet. Ground floor; large suite with private entrance onto porch and fields. There is one queen bed. Private bath with shower. The sitting room has a glass front wood burning stove for a cosy evening by the fire. Either suite is accessed from the main floor. On this floor, the kitchen, sitting room, dining area and balcony are available to our guests 24/7. Parking is available by the entrance. We also have two primitive cabins. Wood stoves. No plumbing. Guests must come fully equipped. We also have a one bedroom cabin, with all services. All cabins have adjacent parking. Two cabins have pull thru parking for pickup/trailer combinations. Our semi remote properties have camping options available in season. Adults only, preferred. No pets. We have dogs and farm animals on the property. Our shorefront and small float serve for swimming, fishing, or launching a canoe. Fly in guests may tie up at the float. Christiansen’s crystal clear waters provide wonderful fishing for rainbow and steelhead all summer, and through the ice in winter. Additional fishing, swimming and hiking is just down the road at our chain of lakes park - a good place for birding and berry picking. Cross country skiing possibilities are endless in winter. There are many back country trails, promising a true wilderness experience to off roaders whether on foot, on a bike, or atv. Unlimited camping is pemitted backpackers on Alaska State Lands. In season, guests may also reserve walk in camping on our semi remote properties. Tents, camp supplies and firewood may be set up for your adventure. Always be aware of fire danger. All fire danger warnings and restrictions are posted regularly and are mandatory!

Please remember this is remote and off the grid. All meals are included with stay. No electricity, No cell service, 2.5 hour 4 wheeler ride or 15 minute helicopter ride. Highly recommended healthy and physically fit guest. This can be rough terrian. Pack light, but both warm and cold - wet and dry. Prefer everyone try to fly in helicopter through talkeetna air taxi, 4 wheeler is also an option. 1 Bedroom upstairs in loft with 2 beds. Front porch and Back porch to sit and watch nature and listen to the river. Fireplace and couch downstairs with sitting area. Small kitchen area. This cabin also has an outdoor sauna. I have uploaded pictures to show the beauty. The host will be around as needed and wanted. We can offer meals if wanted. Fishing poles are available to rent.

Small and peaceful new campground surrounded by lakes and tucked away in a beautiful white birch forest. A peaceful retreat for nature lovers. Lodging: -There are 3 campers with thier own fire pits and picnic tables to choose from. Tenting and Parking: -There are 3 rustic woodsy tent sites on the property to choose from. Boating and Swimming: -All of the nearby lakes have public access and allow motor boats, jet skis, kayaks, rafts, and floating toys. Most are great for swimming on warm, sunny days. Fishing: -We have caught pike, whitefish, rainbows, and brown trout out of every single lake in the area, as well as salmon and trout from the Little Su river less than a mile away. There are so many lakes and streams nearby and they are all full of amazing fishing opportunities depending on the time of year. Our off-grid property is situated on 200 private acres of beautiful Alaskan land. We have five miles of trails right out your cabin door and beautiful views of the Susitna River throughout. The Talkeetna Mountains serve as an incredible backdrop to it all. We live on the property, as do our array of animals. We have a family of geese and chickens who will welcome you with open wings, as well as two dogs and three cats. We operate off of solar and generated power and while the cabins do have limited electricity, we ask that you We are located just 55 miles from the Anchorage Airport, 12 miles from downtown Palmer and 14 miles from downtown Wasilla. Best of all, were just 2.8 miles from Government Peak Recreation Area and 10 miles from Hatcher Pass, so if it's adventure you're looking for, you're in luck! If you’re looking for a fun day trip, we’re just an hour and a half from Talkeetna and 3.5 hours from Denali. We've named our property The Wilds because it is wild! A large portion of our land is protected by a conservation easement, so it can never be developed. We cherish that responsibility and are excited to share the rawness of this land with you!

Wow, what a wonderful stay. It was truly hard to leave. The solitude and beautiful scenery was amazing, the glamping site was fully equipped with all the necessities and the bathtub view was so relaxing. Our favorite part was cooking breakfast on the blackstone in the morning with a cup of coffee, hearing the trees and enjoying the fresh air. Diane and Mark went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, their hospitality is unmatched. So much to do and see in Talkeetna. Everything about our trip was remarkable and we cannot wait to return.

Our family really enjoyed this cabin as the first stop on our Alaska adventure! It’s close (enough) to Talkeetna and hikes, but super quiet and remote feeling. Despite being off the grid and small, it had everything we needed. I like to save money in trips, so having the fridge and burner to cook some simple things was great. We did have to be super vigilant about keeping mosquitoes out and killing any that got in. Our only wish was that the beds in the loft would have had mosquito nets. We regretted not putting bug spray on the kids before bed! But we loved having the kayaks available to use and my girls loved the puppy, George! Shelley was so quick to respond and very friendly/informative, while also giving space & privacy. I’d love to come experience it in the winter!

The Aurora Cabin was so very lovely! There were so many more accommodations than we had anticipated and were so appreciative!! All of the features were super easy to navigate and the host was responsive when we thought we needed help. The temperature was super intuitive with the gas fire place. Even the outhouse amazed! Didn’t smell bad all weekend. Would even go so far as to say it smelled lovely! We got great use out of the fire pit as well- and the provided blankets for the fire! Lovely property, great stay- would come back again!
