This ground finally has its own address but not till 2016 In the 1900's this area was known to be the "Buffalo Creek" wide open grazing area for the roaming bison. With the mature Willows and Rocky vegetation is all left for us to enjoy You could see roaming moose hanging around! and plenty of deer. Be cautious, Be aware! We are secluded and surrounded with mature willows trees and we expect the yearly spring water run off from Teton reek You are five blocks from 5th street bus stop for transportation to Grand Targhee Ski Resort the famous snow pack 500 inches of powder! this property is off 1st street from Ski Hill road and the most unique quiet location for being so close to the center of Driggs.  We are walking distance to grocery store, post office, City building information and many restaurants to choose from. 90 miles to Yellowstone NP, and one hour from Jackson WY. You can call this your base camp for many adventures, hiking, fishing, down hill skiing and much more seasonal activities at a year around location. Learn more about this land: Four-season rustic cabin that can sleep up to 6 adults and up to 10 total.  Access by vehicle (summer) or snowmobile (winter).  Separate indoor kitchen/eating areas vs sleeping area (inside sturdy vinyl Army tent).  Wood stove inside the tent will keep you warm all night.  Bring your own sleeping bags, food, and water.  Primitive outhouse near the yurt.  So much to do - so much to see (moose and deer are commonplace). SUMMER: Access to private lake: swimming and fishing and boating (no gas engines allowed). Private sand dune area for ATVs, with access to hundreds of miles of public land trails. St Anthony Sand Dunes, Civil Defense Caves, Ice Caves and Island Park Reservoir are all accessible on an ATV day trip.  Yellowstone National Park is an 80 minute drive, though accessing the property requires a 6.5 mile drive on a dirt road, a total of 25 minutes from Ashton.  Two campfire rings on the property to choose from for your evening gatherings.

The Shoshone and Nez Perce Native American tribes spent their summers in this area hunting and fishing the many streams in this valley.   Trapper's used the area until the U.S. market collapse of the beaver skin top-hat in the late 1830's.  Mormon pioneers began settling here in the 1890's.  My great-grandparents settled in Teton Valley after moving from Nebraska in 1917.  They farmed this land; growing potatoes, barley and hay.  Today we raise alfalfa/grass hay that we feed to our horses.  In the bottom of our field south of the campsite is Trail Creek, which is the headwaters of the Teton River.  It flows out of the southern Teton mountain range in Wyoming and into Idaho.  This water eventually joins the mighty Snake River near Rexburg, Idaho as it continues it's journey to the pacific ocean.  Summer's here are usually warm sunny days with cool, chilly nights.  Our location sits at an elevation of 6,300' above sea level.Learn more about this land:Located 1 mile from Victor, Idaho along the Old Jackson Highway. Quaint, simple, quiet spot with electrical power and portable toilet. Our dog loved running free and exploring nearby. A little hard to find but worth the effort. Best features are view and closeness to Driggs.

What an awesome spot! Joy is a phenomenal host—communicative, welcoming, and has great energy. A little rain and cloud did little to dampen the experience, which was highlighted by a nice long sweat in the sauna (a MUST) and a brief but invigorating dip in the cold plunge. Shoutout to a couple of friendly four legged friends, who I also had the great fortune to meet. While I didn’t get to experience the epic sunrise over the Tetons due to an early departure, this was easily remedied by a quick journey back over the pass to the national park (another must!). This was my first, but certainly not my last stay!!

We arrived late but Derek provided directions to the local store via text and met us at the gate. Helped to find some small firewood and lent an axe. Next morning woke to a really peaceful site where the owners have done a great job of making a great site - communal area with games, nice lighting and the best shower we’ve seen after weeks on the road. Well worth a visit.

We were headed to Salt Lake from Jackson WY after visiting Yellowstone and Grand Teton so this one campsite location on the other side of the pass in Idaho fit the bill. Owner was very easy to communicate with. Power and water only.

Alicia’s spot was perfect. We arrived pretty late as we were driving from across the state, and left in the middle of the night as well one night for some photo stuff. She didn’t mind either time, and the entire spot was so quiet and peaceful. It was close to their house, but the trees and how it was setup still gave us plenty of privacy through the duration of our stay and it was exactly as advertised

Wonderful site with wonderful hosts. My partner and I stayed here 2 nights at Site 1. We were greeted by our host, Terri. She was amazing to talk with! She directed us to the spot we’d be staying at. It was a pull through spot, and it was a level spot. All of the spots are very cared/maintained. Good spaces in between sites. Although we didn’t use many of the amenities, there was cornhole, volleyball courts and other things to enjoy at the campground. The hosts and the campground exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely come back and stay to explore more of the surroundings area.

The location is beautiful. The ride up union pass is a well maintained dirt road, we got in late and had to drive it in the dark (would not recommend if you can avoid) but the road was wide enough to manage opposite direction vehicles. The spot was easy to find and get set up, the front to back leveling was a little step but side to side was good. Spot #2 still has line and neutral crossed so you'll need to use power from spot #1.

Had a lot of fun during our stay. It is a very beautiful area and the most dog friendly camp we have been to. Our dogs were able to play off leash in the field with all the local dogs. Was able to do a UTV rental out of season with just a couple days notice before our arrival. Tim had tons of trail recommendations and was a lot of fun to talk with.

I loved this cozy cabin!! It had everything my dog and I needed to get a good night’s rest before we set off for our hike. Instructions to check in were very simple and it was easy to find even though I got there pretty late at night. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing opportunity-you simply could not ask for more hospitable hosts. They're incredibly kind and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. And my last night there, they even threw a small bonfire for all the guests to join and share their travel adventures (which I very much appreciated since I was traveling solo). The views were incredible of course, between the starry night sky, the surrounding hills and the nearby national parks. But I think the people are what made this stay one to remember. I cannot recommend this opportunity enough.

Directions were easy to follow. There was about 5 miles or so of unpaved road up the mountain to the sites. The sites were all lined up, kind of close to each other. There was also the rental shop and a restaurant/bar in the same area. We didn’t try the restaurant but it was open. There was a really big field across the road that we were able to let the doggos run free, off leash.
