Come escape to a heavily wooded 31 acre pristine wildlife habitat. Only one hour east of Dallas but it feels like another world. At the end of a one lane rock road- this is a very secluded property. It is perfect for tent camping groups and individuals, has a very positive vibe and is more peaceful than most state parks. It adjoins a 950 acre wildlife park with 1200 exotic animals. Many can be seen from the road or you can pay to drive through and feed the animals.
Your host is Randall Oliver. He has been organizing group campouts for years and enjoys hosting, bringing people together and inspiring a love of nature, camping and paddling. Everyone is welcome and campers are treated like family. He can teach your kids to kayak and build a camp fire.
You can fish for largemouth bass, cat, crappy and bluegill in the two ponds and swim, paddle kayaks and paddle boards, hike the jungle trail and socialize around the campfires.
There are no designated campsites. You can camp anywhere except between the green building and the front pond. No vehicles are allowed back on the property. Off road wagons are provided to help haul your gear. Front pond camping areas are 30-100 yards from parking area. The rear pond is more secluded but farther from the parking and outhouse. There are four fire pits around the front pond and one next to the rear pond.
The tiny handcrafted Hummingbird Tree House is perched on an elevated deck overlooking the front pond. and features a queen bed, a bed in the loft for two small kids, electricity, lights, fan, hummingbird stained glass windows, screened operable windows and a screened, operable porthole window in the kids loft. The deck has lights, tables and chairs and outdoor table and chairs and a thatch covered umbrella. There is no heat or AC in the tree house. You must bring your own sleeping bags, blankets and pillows. No food, smoking or pets allowed in the tree house.
There is a rustic outhouse with a modern composting toilet, sink, faucet, lights, soap, etc. and a nearby cold water outdoor shower (no privacy), sink, counter and faucet. Use of firepit and grill, kayaks and paddleboards, rod & reels, hammocks, swinging chair and tire swing is included. Firewood can be purchased $1 per stick

We’re conveniently located just a few miles from Tyler State Park, where you can swim, bike, or rent paddleboats, and the Caldwell Zoo, known as one of the best small zoos in Texas. Shopping, museums, and great food are close by, along with unique stops in nearby Lindale—like Miranda Lambert’s Pink Pistol boutique.

Main House Layout: First Floor: There are two bedrooms with king-sized beds. One of these rooms also has a sofa bed. There's also a TV room with another sofa bed. Additionally, two folding beds are available on this floor.
Second Floor: There is one bedroom with a queen-sized bed and a pop-up trundle bed (equivalent to two full-size beds). In the living room, there's another sofa bed.
The house is set up to comfortably accommodate three couples, each with two children. There’s a gas barbecue grill and outdoor dining tables — perfect for a small family celebration or a quiet evening meal. Some of the most cherished moments at Infinity Paradise happen at night — sitting outside on the deck in the lakeside kiosk (kioske del lago), watching the stars light up the sky or enjoying the glow of a full moon reflected on the water. And in the early morning, nothing beats a peaceful walk while listening to the birds sing — a perfect way to start the day. We're located just outside the city limits, only 15 minutes from Walmart and other conveniences, so you're never far from anything you might need.

we really enjoyed our stay at Randall’s camp site! it was the perfect size for me, my boyfriend and our 2 dogs. the pond was fun to fish and kayak at. we really enjoyed how kind and welcoming Randall was, he gave us a tour when we got there and talked to us a bit. we appreciated all the amenities that are provided, kayaks, paddle boards, tables, chairs, hammocks, restroom, fire pits, and more. we will definitely go again!

Texas Safari Camp exceeded every expectation and gave our family the perfect first camping experience. Randall is an incredible host whose customer service is second to none. It's obvious this property is a true passion project for him, and it shows in every detail. He was responsive, accommodating, and genuinely invested in making sure we had an amazing stay.
The location is absolutely beautiful—peaceful, scenic, and hard to believe it's only about 40 minutes from Dallas. We spent our evenings around the campfire making memories, enjoyed the quiet surroundings, and even watched ostriches from the neighboring Zoofari, which was a huge hit with the kids.
Fishing was one of the highlights of our trip. We caught tons of fish, and several kids caught their very first fish, making for unforgettable memories. The free kayaks were a fantastic bonus, and everything was well maintained, with life jackets available in every size for everyone to enjoy the water safely.
The property was spotless, thoughtfully maintained, and surprisingly free of mosquitoes. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway with incredible fishing, beautiful scenery, campfires under the stars, free kayaks, and a host who truly cares about his guests, Texas Safari Camp is hard to beat. We left with amazing memories and are already looking forward to coming back. I couldn't recommend it more highly!

Michael was there to greet us before we even stepped out of the truck. He was very helpful, friendly & gave us places around to fish & walk. The spot had a beautiful view directly on the water as stated online. Hook ups were easy to get to & the pad for our camper was pretty much perfectly level. We would definitely camp there again.

Weekend Trip to Bass Cabins at Lake Fork
The accommodations were lovely and the place was nice and clean. Our favorite part was being there on the 4th of July and seeing an up close and beautiful display of fireworks right by the boat dock.

This was a great campground! The sites were very well spread out and had everything you need for the night. The shade of the trees made for great summer tent camping, and the lake felt amazing. The staff were very friendly as well!!

Randal was a great host and the site is beautiful. Perfect weekend getaway and the tree house is a nice cozy escape. The pond was full of curious turtles and we had a great time kayaking and paddle boarding. 10/10, would recommend and visit again.

It’s an amazing place and the views are gorgeous. The family enjoyed staying the night and making a campfire to cook and make snacks like smores. We tried some fishing and relaxed in the deck taking in the sun. We loved it.

The camp sites are clean and nice. Plenty of room for my family. The ground is flat and perfect for tints.
My kids played in the pond pretty much the whole time. They have paddle boards, kayaks and plenty of paddles. We brought floats amd had a blast. My dog throughly enjoy himself as well. All-in-all it was a great time.

Jill communicated with me immediately which was appreciated.
The grounds were lovely and I was pleased to have easy electricity and water at my site.
When I used the bathroom this morning before leaving I was INCREDIBLY impressed with their attention to comfort and coziness for this area that could have been a bare bones port-o-potty. Instead, it was air-conditioned, immaculate space that also had a beautiful sink in it.
I would absolutely go back, as it was easy to get to and very quiet.

Everything here was exactly what i expected!! I loved it here! Caught A LOT of bass and ate so many s’mores ! This place was a 10/10 view, shade, RR access, lots of trees and enough of camping space for tents . Also Rustin was so cool

i loved tent camping at blackberry pines with my group of six. we were the only ones camping on the land; it was good to have the whole spot to ourselves. i only spoke with brock shortly; he was kind and saw to it that all our needs were met.
brock does live on the land, but his house is about 1/3 mile away from the campgrounds. that is also where the water tap and portapotty are, so i think it would be best to bring your own water cooler. i like that we could gather firewood and choose our own spots to set up shelter.
the disc golf course was amazing. i liked golfing throughout the tall trees which gave us a lot of shade. it was great to have the far, mid, and near tees since some of us were newer to disc golf. there are 20 holes, and a putting course, so there is a lot to do.
we had a great time, and i would tell others to camp here.

It’s extremely peaceful and being able to walk around with no shoes on was amazing.
