The Bunkie by the pond is a perfect getaway for campers and nature lovers. Located just a small hike from the road, but far enough to truly be able to feel like you've escaped the city!
The cabin is very cozy, measuring 11ft by 10ft, it sleeps 3 comfortably. It is equipped with a propane furnace for those chilly spring, fall or winter nights.

Due to being right beside the pond, you do hear the geese and other wildlife at night. Swimming is not recommended in the pond.
WASHROOM:
Located on the site is a rustic outhouse available for guests to use.
WASTE
The site is a zero waste (Leave No Trace) where guests are asked to kindly bring any garbage they produce home after their stay.
SPRING, SUMMER, FALL:
Guests can canoe on the pond during the warmer months, as well as hike the trails on the property, and do some nature watching.
WINTER:
During the winter months, guests can skate and cross country ski on the pond and through the trails. Winter hiking is also amazing!

Annie and Mike's Bunkie by the pond is great. It had everything you could want for a night or two away from the city without going too far away from home. Nature lovers and hikers will be in heaven. We just sat and enjoyed the fire and sounds of the animals around us. Can't wait to book again when it gets warmer and take the boat out that you can rent there. Great hosts, beautiful clean and cozy accommodations.
