The tent was definitely a new experience. It was a bit cold during my stay, so a sleeping pad or extra sleeping bag wouldn't hurt when it's cold. But definitely a cool little site for sure. Cory is a kick-ass dude and will definitely do what he can to help with your stay. It was awesome to have wood to buy right at the campsite. The toilet is a little walk (not bad, take a light at night), but was decent. The fresh eggs were awesome, and the incense to help keep the skeeters away was a nice touch!

Talk about an awesome experience! I was bouncing through the UP and finding places to stay along the way. Came across Cory's spot and it was perfect! There was nothing better than sleeping in the hammock (site 4) after a night on Superior watching the Northern Lights.
My service was very spotty and I was scrambling trying to lock in a site. Cory contacted me directly despite being hours away at a family event. He walked me through everything and gave fantastic directions. Great guy and a great place to stay. I'll definitely be back!

We camped at the pull through site. It was beautiful land to camp on. Perfect fire pit to stay warm. Cory was very accommodating and responded to any messages I sent in a very timely manner. The site is close to a gas station/convenient store.

This was truly an unforgettable experience! The location was easy to find, even for someone like me who's new to exploring the U.P. The host was incredibly helpful. The views were absolutely stunning – waking up in the morning to a beautiful landscape right outside my tent was amazing. It was conveniently located to reach other hikes too! The entire setup was unique and perfect for anyone looking to immerse themselves in nature. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the U.P.!

Very fasts in her responses whenever we asked questions! The site was labeled well (we could find it in the dark!), clean, and felt and secluded/private while still being close enough to the road. The location is also pretty central to different sites in the U.P.

We absolutely love camping at Corey’s sites! This year we stayed at site 4, in the levitating tent. We had no idea what to expect but it was so much fun! The platform under the tent makes it so easy to get in and out. Site 4 is smaller but so cozy.

This spot is a gem! We made a last minute reservation and Cory was very accommodating. He communicated well with us to make sure we found the spot, which was marked well in my opinion. The tent was comfortable and clean. The site felt secluded and peaceful. 10/10 would book again 👍

Absolutely would recommend this camp site! The space was quiet. Plenty of space. Corey was quick to respond to any questions and even delivered fire wood and started a fire upon or arrival! My only downside was not spending more nights there. The hanging tent was a fun experience! My friend and i both slept pretty good. We definitely would bring more blankets next time. It wasn’t cold at night, however with it hanging, there is no insulation below you. However, that would stop me from booking again!! I highly recommend!!

This was such a wonderful experience. I really liked the idea of the tent being in the trees. It’s a pretty neat idea. I had such an eventful day & when I got to the campsite I reached out to ask about getting wood for a fire. Cory was kinda enough to bring some and even started it for me. Had a great conversation just about camping as well as recommending places to visit. Overall the experience was wonderful. I heard the owl through the night and it was peaceful. I thought the tent was pretty comfy I had two blankets and a sleeping bag. Highly recommend checking this out.

Booked this spot last minute as rain was expected and I didn’t feel like being drenched while setting up camp. I arrived after dark but the directions were spot on! Prívate parking space was adjacent to camp spot making trips to the car very easy, even in the dark. Very private and quiet. After a quick bite to eat, I threw my sleeping bag and pad into the levitating tent not knowing what to expect. What I found was one of the most roomy and comfortable tents I’ve ever slept in! Thank you Cory! I will definitely keep this on my list of places to revisit!

Great experience! Was able to book online late at night and was greeted promptly soon my arrive the next night . Cory came out to meet me and ask if I needed anything when I arrived around six .

Camp site offered fresh farm eggs which I thought was super dope . Also fire wood on site at a reasonable price with easy online payment options.
The spot sits right in the middle of pictured rocks and the falls and has some fast food options about 15 mins away if you're too tired to cook . Also a gas station right out side the property

My brother and I enjoyed our weekend in the UP! Cory was super responsive and site was perfect! Loved the tent! Our arrival time was late. He placed cones and sent photos to ensure we could fine the site! 10/10 would recommend!

Nice little place that was a great landing place while we were exploring the eastern part of the UP. We loved the fresh eggs delivered to the campsite! Very private site, isolated from the other sites (important to us since our dog doesn't believe that any other dogs should exist in the world!). Located close to the road that goes around the lake, but there is very little traffic and it's well protected by trees so you don't see the cars. Located about midway between the Pictured Rocks and Tahquamenon Falls area, so this is a great location if you're exploring either of those areas. Not far from Oswald's Bear Ranch also, which is worth a visit. Great little one-stop-shop called Moose du Nord is nearby also, which we visited multiple times for some great pizza, ice cream, lattes, wifi, diesel, and locally sourced gifts. We could tell owners have put some time and energy into improving the site for visitors. We would definitely return if back in the area again!

The tent was super well kept and clean inside, surprisingly comfy too! Cory was very responsive and helpful, he brought us a fire starter to purchase when we realized we didn't have one and gave us some local recommendations. 10/10 :)

Loved camping here- very peaceful and quiet.
We choose this place for its proximity to a lot of neat scenic spots in the U.P. It was nice to explore and have a good base camp to come back to. I did appreciate that wood was available for purchase so I didn’t have to hunt some down at a gas station. I definitely will return again to camp.

Site 1 (Levitating Tent Rental)
This really is a great spot! We used it as the beginning and ending of the Lake Superior circle tour. The area is private and wooded with the toilet a short walk away. We brought citronella candles that helped with the mosquitos. Cory sent out directions to get here and the numbers were easy to spot.
The levitating tent is very cool! It’s basically like sleeping in a room with a few hammocks. It was very comfortable- we didn’t need to use a camping pad.
We had a great experience and would highly recommend staying here!

I loved camping out on Cory’s land. It was a bit colder than expected that night - especially with a hammock style tent without an underquilt, but Cory was accommodating and brought my friends and I extra blankets.
The outhouse is nice but quite a walk away - especially in the middle of the night.

We had a great time camping here with our 7 kids. I love that the site is very private-- it felt like being out in the woods without sight of any tents or houses, but it was near enough the main highway to not be really remote. It was beautiful and peaceful and very spacious. We had room to spread out and set up some smaller tents for the kids and they got to roam around a little and enjoy the space. I recommend bringing plenty of water for drinking and washing (I brought lots of drinking water, but I missed the part about needing to bring wash water- my own mistake). I also loved that the host was very chill and communicative and answered all my questions quickly. All in all, we were really happy with this campsite! I'm glad I chose this over some other options.

Overall, it was a nice place to use as a "jumping off point". The weather was not what we would have liked, but that is not something the host can control. Cory and his family are very friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The site itself is not perfect. All the wet weather really let the mud makes it's presence known. It's not a level site, and there are many bare spots where walking was done slowly and purposefully so as not to slide on the muddy, sloped terrain. Again- not sure what Cory could do about that and I believe that if he could, he would. Road noise from passing trucks was louder than I thought it would be, but it wasn't unbearable. The fire pit was adequate and there is a picnic table, but without having level terrain, items tended to roll or fall off the table when jostled or sitting on the bench. We had site 1, which is a pull through, and brought our boat. The driveway was wide enough to get the boat to the site on top of a small hill, thanks to the gravel Cory put down for traction. In hindsight- I would stay here again, but I would love to see just a little more leveling out of the space. The driveways aren't too steep, but they're close. The fresh chicken eggs, when available, are the real deal. Nothing beats fresh eggs, sausage and fried potatoes over an open fire when camping! Thank you Cory and family for doing your best to make us feel comfortable! Great recommendations and such a helpful, friendly and beautiful family!
