I loved the site it was clean and well taken care of seemed as if they put a lot of thought into having everything u need to make your experience a great one. A large area to tent camp and also pull your RV and turn around in. Two large fire pits, compost toilet which was very clean and trash bins at the property. Direct river access was nice to have as my 7 year old loved playing in it and really I found refreshing seeing the day we spent there was close to 100 degrees. Great little gem would recommend to there and would love to come back.
Nick and Teresa have provided a lovely, groomed site surrounded by nature. The composting outhouse is clean. The dock and river and trees are beautiful. The only downside for me was the proximity of M-30 which brings in a lot of road noise. That might be my own personal bias, the beauty and privacy may make up for that for others. If you like floating in rivers and having plenty of private space, this is for you!
Me, 3 kids and 2 dogs. Nice huge space up top, great lil path down to the river. The water is very clean and the soft sandy bottom was great. The water isnt too deep about 2-3 ft. The campsite sits right on 30 but the traffic wasnt annoying or noticeable at night. The view up top is fantastic. The outhouse was really nice, clean and stocked. The well has very clean cold water. We camp alot but this is our new favorite spot. See ya next year!

For those of us who prefer a quiet time camping out, nothing can beat an experience like Boondock Ridge where you are the ONLY camper at the campsite, even on the busiest weekends and holidays of year. Also, for us, the drive from our home in southeast Michigan to Boondock Ridge was less than three hours. Highly recommended and we will be back
This camping spot was absolutely perfect for my husband, 3 dogs, and I. I thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful sunsets, scenery, and my dogs living their best lives swimming. We kayaked to Secord Lake, went bike riding, and relaxed in the great outdoors. I wasn't sure I was using the composting toilet (I've never used one before) but I'm glad it was provided. The artesian well was wonderful also!! I'm hoping to revisit again in the future. Spectacular people with a spectacular little piece of property.

I loved the tent camping site on Teresa's land. The views were beautiful and the The directions to the camp site where easy to Navigate. We did not have other campers around us so we had the place to ourselves They had a beautiful path that led to a dock and a water system that came out of the land absolutely gorgeous I will recommend this place and I will definitely be back.

We are glad you had a good time. Thank you for being great guests and leaving the campsite tidy. :-) Nick and Teresa
I loved this place. Super peaceful and nice. Will be booking again often.

Thank you for coming:-) We are glad that you had a good trip! Until next time,….happy camping!
We stayed for one night with a tent. Nick and Teresa were very helpful prior to our trip and were quick to respond to our messages. The location is beautiful, right along a river. The top area is very spacious and gave us lots of area to run around with our dog. The outhouse was clean and well kept. We parked our car at the top but there is a short path that leads down to another area where we set up our tent. Both the top and bottom areas are really pretty, there is potable water and access to the river from the bottom area. One thing to note is this location is very very close to a busy road. The noise from the cars was noticeable through out the day and can see cars passing from the location. At night this was not an issue especially since we set up our tent farther down the path and it quieted down enough to sleep. This is a perfect spot for rv camping but it was quite noisy and not very secluded when tent camping.

Nick and Teresa’s Boondock Ridge is easily one of my favorite spots to camp! My family and I make it a point to come here at least 2-3 times during the camping season. Beautiful views, peaceful spot, close to hiking, kind people!

Nancy, We are pleased that you enjoy our campsite. Yes… the dock is going in next weekend:-) Thank you for the kind review. Nick and Teresa
