This is my little slice of heaven, and I’d love to share it with like-minded folks who appreciate nature as much as I do. I bought this property less than a year ago, and I’m already in love with it. The mature cedar and birch trees are my favorite part of the property, but the young maples are beautiful too. If you’ve ever wanted to experience absolute silence, this is your chance. There’s a lake about a mile down the gravel road, and you can occasionally hear loons, which makes me so happy! You’ll also frequently hear owls in the evening and at night. There is a gun range down the road, so you may occasionally hear gunshots in the distance, but at least there are no police sirens. 😉 There’s a fairly steep hill leading down to the cabin, but you can drive all the way down. A couple of walking trails have already been made throughout the property, with more in the works. This is a great location for enjoying all the incredible nature northern Wisconsin has to offer.Cozy, off grid, peace and serenity hunting she shack. Rare opportunity to experience complete silence and darkness! 🙌🌙🌟 But lots of nature sounds throughout the day as well. Loons and owls are my favorite! This is considered "roughing it", but comfortably. Its a small hunting cabin and my daughter has helped me with remodeling the cabin, she loves girly stuff, so it is definitely more of a she shack than a he shack. But both would greatly enjoy the adventures waiting to be had! The shack is at the bottom of a fairly steep hill, its walkable for the average person though or you can drive all the way down and park right by the deck to unload and load with ease. There is a new neighbor next door that stays at his cabin occasionally throughout the year and he is an avid bear hunter with dogs so sometimes barking is heard, but not often. Water jugs will be provided and if more water is needed there is a hand pump well at the county park 1 mile away to refill. There's a battery thats charged by solar to power a 12V carport adapter (phone charger or even a portable electric lunchbox). A generator and 2 kayaks are available for a small extra fee. There is a tv and dvd player that could be powered by the generator if desired. There's a variety of dvds kept at the cabin. There's a wood stove and wood provided for heat on the cooler nights, but the cabin does stay pretty cozy. Seasonally, garden veggies may be available as a bonus. 😋
