i was so appreciative of Nicole’s flexibility in allowing my late-season stay! passing through the area as i cross the country, the willow farm was a beautiful stop tucked within southern Wisconsin’s rolling farmland. i enjoyed a clear night full of stars early in a new a lunar cycle. certainly worth the trip!

Close to a home but nice views
Overall we had a great experience. The site (site 2) was much closer to the home than we expected, so it lacked the privacy we were anticipating. The views were great and the furniture was a luxury to have while camping.

We stayed on Nicole's property this weekend and had an incredibly peaceful experience. It really does have beautiful views of both sunrises and sunsets. The camping areas are very simple to access, had great patio furnishings at the site and even free standing hammocks for extra comfort. The sites are well groomed and come equipped with stone lined fire pits, wood racks, and firewood on site. You'll find the property nestled well off grid in the heart of rolling farm lands and will be comfortable during your stay. We're happy to recommend it to others.

We really enjoyed our stay! Easy to find and pretty drive.. Beautiful views of the farmlands. Nicoles communication was spot on and she was incredibly welcoming! We were on site #1 which is close to the house but felt private. We loved exploring the property and hiking nearby.

Beautiful sunset, stars, & animals!
Super gorgeous views tent camping at site 1! It was a beautiful night and the stars were incredible. We loved hanging out with the cats and the dog, and enjoyed the many hammocks stationed around. Site 1 is close to the house, so if you prefer more privacy I would recommend site 2. Nicole is super nice and was more than accommodating to us. The only downside was the flies! I know that’s no one’s fault, but the end of August might just be a favorite time for flies to hang out.

Loved this for a quick night stay. So in the middle of nowhere you can truly see the galaxy and nebulas. Very accommodating. Would stay again!

Tenting at Nicole's property was such a calming and serene experience. There is no noise other than the wind, the rustling stalks of corn and birds.
What luxury to have an electrical cord that we could use to keep our little fridge running through the night

It was quiet & beautiful. We encountered a lot of rain so we could not get a fire started or see the stars much but I’m sure on a clear night it’s even more beautiful than we experienced.
The site is on a bit of a hill so keep that in mind for tables.
Apple Maps did not take us to the right spot so I’d suggest using google!

Tent camping here was absolutely amazing. Nicole is the sweetest person and made this experience wonderful. The old barn and farm buildings are super pretty and the hammock set up made it perfect to watch the sunset. Beautiful piece of property and would definitely recommend it for camping.

I love the camping in Nicole’s farm. The campsite2 is very big and has a lot of privacy. It is a very dog friendly campsite without any light pollution. I saw the Milky Way at night! Besides Nicole had prepared all we need, rugs for picnic, chair and table and lighter. Very nice experience. My dog loves it too.

We loved camping at Nicole's! It was nice and quiet, the hammocks and fire pit were great amenities, and the view over the farmland at sunset was wonderful. Our dog had a great time running through the closely cropped fields.

I had an absolutely fantastic time staying at Nicole’s property. It was a quick stop during my road trip–and a little out of the way, but absolutely worth it. The roads to get out here take you through some incredible areas of Wisconsin that you wouldn’t normally see. I ended up coming in later at night (I kept stopping to look at the scenery…), but Nicole was great about it and the site was easy to find. The porta potty was also probably the cleanest I’ve ever seen before. I’ll definitely be back.

This was a great place for tent camping. The farm is a gorgeous slice of the Driftless Region. We passed a meadow in full bloom with wildflowers on the backroad to the camp, it was just gorgeous and peaceful.
We camped at Site 2. The campsite is well setup with a picnic table, chairs, hammocks, fire pit, and a very clean portapotty. There were mowed paths all around, so you could have a nice walk right on your site. Water from a hose is available nearer to the house. There were lots of birds around in the barn, so I had to wipe up some mess off the tent when we packed up, but that was easy enough. Everything here felt rustic but also very well cared for, it had a nice vibe.
If you will spend a lot of daytime at the site you should bring a shade shelter as there isn’t much shade from the umbrella.
Site 2 is closer to the road, but further from the house, and a very easy walk to the portapotty.
Site 1 is on top of the hill, further from the road but closer to the house. You have to walk down the hill to the portapotty.
I think both sites give a nice sense of privacy and have pretty views and similar amenities (fire pit, hammock, etc).
Nicole is very friendly and kind and has adorable pets.
We really enjoyed our staycation here!

Nicole is such a friendly and welcoming host. The spot on the hill is close to Nicole's home, but facing out to the gorgeous views it feels quite private. It was very quiet and great for star gazing, and a spectacular place to take in the sunset! Nicole has wood available for purchase and a very nice firepit. The shared porta potty is at the bottom of the driveway, it was very clean and even had a box of various supplies should you be missing anything. Our dog had a great time and so did we. Thank you, Nicole, for sharing your lovely property!

Beautiful location on a quaint country road. Quite and peaceful and fairly close to a number of interesting sites. Well appointed with hammocks, tables, water, etc.
