Sailor Springs Glamping

Abe offered the A frame cabin and I decided to take it due to him stating it would be warmer. Everything was great. Nice warm cabin, beautiful scenery, a trickling creek, and a nice little hike to the site. I will be coming back.

Great stay!

We had an incredible time at Sailor Springs! The crows nest was clean, came well equipped and was so cozy! The trails and trees were so beautiful and you could tell it was well taken care of. Thanks for the stay, Abe!

Cozy and memorable stay!

We absolutely loved this site. The outdoor shower was a highlight—peaceful, refreshing, and a perfect way to enjoy the natural setting. The campfire being right next to the tent made evenings feel extra special. The tent itself was spacious and thoughtfully set up, with a super comfy bed that made for great sleep. The structure around the tent—including the decking underneath and the metal roof—really added to our sense of safety and comfort, especially when a gnarly storm rolled through. Everything held up beautifully, and we felt secure and dry the whole time. Abe was awesome to work with! We had one site booked for a night and another for two nights, and he made the transition between them incredibly easy. He also checked in on us after a storm passed through and stayed responsive via the app whenever we had questions. You can tell he really cares about making sure campers have a good experience. Would absolutely recommend this spot to anyone looking to disconnect and enjoy some true quiet time in nature!

Fantastic getaway!

Exactly what we were looking for—very remote, peaceful, and private. The hike to the site was clearly communicated in advance, so we were prepared, but it was moderately challenging, especially with gear. The hill down to the fire pit was a little tricky when the dirt was wet, but the beautiful, secluded setting made it well worth the effort. The cabin was spotless, super cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Abe was awesome to work with! Starling The Sailboat

Fun stay on a fascinating old boat. I appreciate that Abe was very helpful with coordinating my difficult schedule. Great spot to stay in Bayfield. The boat is in a well protected slip and you hardly notice that you are not on solid ground. Much like camping, there is no heat or AC. Yes, there is a real toilet!

Fantastic Site

Amazing camping experience! The sound of the creek nearby was very peaceful and the stove inside the A-frame kept us warm at night. The entire walk to the site is filled with adventure. I would say this place is the coolest Hipcamp we have stayed at and we would definitely stay again.

This was the most beautiful campsite we’ve ever stayed at. The little A-frame was the perfect getaway to unwind in nature. We loved having the fire crackling and hearing the water from the creek. We will most definitely be back! Thank you for letting us enjoy your beautiful property!

Wonderful experience in the Anchor

The host was very optimistic. He had me double booked so he upgraded me to Anchor Cabin. And it was a wonderful and lovely with this spot and nature. He provided me with one set of firewood as complimentary. He had a battery lamp and fan for us which was super helpful. We loved the whole experience. It was more than what we expected. We are great full to experience this.

Unique & Convenient Location

Unique property, convenient location, and gracious host! We rented the Anchor A-frame cabin and it was quaint but charming. The best part of this tiny cabin is how it’s perched up alongside of a beautiful creek. This site in particular offers ample privacy and a bonfire pit next to the sounds of running water. This is a hike-in campsite and the property is still in developing stages. Although a short trek, the trails that lead to each site have room for improvement (muddy with steep climbs). With this campsite being marketed as a glamping experience, I would love to see the bathroom amenities upgraded. Overall, we enjoyed our experience and would consider staying again during spring or fall weather for cooler sleeping temperatures.
