The owner was very lovely and present, he obviously cares a lot about making his campers feel welcome. Sites themselves were quite dated and small, leveling is definitely a challenge, IMO there are several that should be taken out of commission until they can be leveled appropriately, even for tents. No water or sewer at the sites as advertised, he said he's going to try to fix that on this listing. The tent camping sites down by the fishing pond looks like a lot of fun though.
The swimmable Pond is across the street and has a small Beach, but it's very crowded given its size. But a quick car ride can get you to a much bigger Beach on the same lake. The campsite was quiet and that was much appreciated.

the place was very beautiful the lake was beautiful the people over there was very nice specialy the police they where friendly and this guy name tim who help us feel comportable and make sure we are ok thank tim he been coming back there for 40 years he knows every body just look for him if you need question . very good place👍👍👍👍👍

Great area! Very nice land with a great view. The campground was quiet and peaceful, just what you’re looking for when camping! Our two children had so much fun, and our dog loved it!

I was not able to make it to site 28.
However, the manager and Hipcamp were very kind and helpful and refunded my money promptly.
If I’m ever in that area, I will for sure look up this campground.
