Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Quiet berry, apple, and wildflower hobby farm with miles of trails woven through nature. There are labyrinths for walking and many meditation spaces. Butterflies and other pollinators flourish here. The property borders Bayfield County Forest lands, offering opportunities for off-trail exploration. RV and campsites are easily accessible for quick setup. The property is within four miles of the shores of Lake Superior in three directions and is near Meyers Beach Sea Caves, Red Cliff Tribal Lands, and Bayfield—each a gateway to the Apostle Islands.

Farm Yard has two 30 amp hook-ups 120 ft apart and are nearby the house and out buildings. Night skies from the yard are awesome. The hiking paths provide easy access to rest of property where there are 5 Labyrinths to explore and walk. The trails are a creative evolving journey changing year to year. The mown paths can handle mountain bikes and disc golf players can tune up on the two baskets. This is a very quiet private area to rest in between day trips or stay and take a self guided retreat. Photographers, artists, writers and nature enthusiasts will feel inspired. RV parking by house with 30 amp. There are 2 sites available.

The Belanger School House was relocated to this former farm and now functions as an office and retreat space. (Currently not offering retreats). There is a yard and shallow pond with hiking paths to rest of property. This is a very quiet private area. RV parking by house with 30 amp. There is one available with electric.

Hobby Farm Yard
We enjoyed our stay at Flowing Waters Retreat. Our camp spot was lovely and private. Craig was wonderful to work with and always promptly replied to any questions. Thing to note about this site: In hotter temperatures, the School House site is surrounded by trees and brush which tend to hold hot temperatures in the vincity and prevent cooling breezes. Rigs should set up close to the house or in the side yard for better internet signal. We did not have any mobile service and were not too successful using wifi phone. This could be concerning for some if an emergency arose. Overall, we found it to be a great stay AND we would definitely book this spot again!

Craig’s land is a very peaceful retreat. I enjoyed the quiet in this little hidden gem. There is no reception once you’re there, but that was part of the magic. It was a perfect getaway

Such a cool, private spot to camp. Nice fire pit area. There are a bunch of trails through a prairie to walk. It was beautiful with the lupines blooming! Such a nice piece of property, glad we got to enjoy it for a weekend.
