Samara Farm Treehouses

Staying here felt like stepping straight into a fairytale! A short walk from the parking area instantly transports you into a peaceful forest oasis, surrounded by trees, soft lights, and the sound of nature. The treehouses themselves were cozy, beautifully built, and surprisingly warm — we visited during the first cold spell of the season, and the heaters kept us perfectly comfortable all weekend. The bathrooms and showers were spotless, and you can tell the hosts take great care of the property. The grounds are beautiful to explore, with little touches everywhere that make it feel whimsical and cared for. Whether you’re looking for a romantic escape, a quiet solo retreat, or simply want to cross “stay in a treehouse” off your bucket list, this is the perfect place to do it. Teenager approved.

Our teenage kids stayed in this treehouse, while we stayed in another. You know it’s great if you can get teenagers to enjoy anything. So if you want some peace and quiet in a beautiful setting, book it.

Magical treehouses in beautiful mature trees. Emily and Miles are top notch people. Despite some misgivings beforehand by our teenagers, all was turned to pure joy once they saw the treehouses.

The treehouse is amazing! And the facilities on site are clean and in perfect condition. Our hosts were kind and allowed us to pick flowers during our stay. I would highly recommend this booking for anyone looking for something unique and unforgettable!

Felt like in a Disney movie!

This was definitely the coolest place I’ve ever stayed in! The treehouse is adorable and waking up to a big window facing a beautiful forest was such a great experience! The place is magical and dreamy! The bathrooms were super clean and nice too. Would 100% come back and recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a magical experience.

Treehouse

This hipcamp is in a beautiful location surrounded by woods. The treehouses are artfully made and are fairly spacious inside as well. There are also restrooms right nearby. I used the tree house for a music video project and we had so much fun. Emily and Miles were welcoming and responsive hosts. I'd highly recommend staying here!

Magical Experience!

Such a magical place to stay! The treehouses are stunning and it was truly a dream come true to wake up and look out at the forest. The bathrooms were clean and functional. I enjoyed walking around, exploring the garden and would definitely go back!

We loved staying here in the tree house! It was better than expected! The first level had tables and chairs and we loved hanging here above in the trees! The field driving in was covered with sunflowers and wild flowers and it was so so beautiful. We went hiking in mount baker so this was a great location to stay and it was very peaceful. We will be back again for sure!

Magical!

These treehouses are magical and we loved our stay. If I could make a suggestion, it would be to provide chairs and towels. They were the only items we missed and regretted not packing ourselves (but would've expected to be provided at the cost point charged). Will still certainly return as we loved the location and treehouses. Hosts were super responsive and friendly too.

Great time in the treehouse!

We stayed at the Spruce treehouse and we had a great time! Emily and Miles were quick to respond. The treehouse was cozy and comfortable. Bathrooms were very clean. Really appreciated that the Spruce treehouse had a covered deck in the rain. Overall, would recommend!

Cool last minute booking. Treehouse was clean and comfortable and had electricity (didn’t expect when booking). Super cool experience. Bathroom area is also clean and easily accessible (by the parking, short walk from the treehouses). Instructions to the property and to the treehouses was easy to follow. Overall great experience. If we had more time we would have explored the property more as I have no doubt it is gorgeous!

We loved Samara!

We loved the Samara Farm! The treehouses are so beautiful and comfortable, and it was an incredibly unique place to stay. We had a great time cooking over our campfire, exploring the forest, and walking through the farm. It’s a great location for access to Mt Baker, the Cascades and Bellingham. It’s a wonderful spot, and thank you for sharing it with us!

Really enjoyed my two night stay at the Cedar treehouse. Waking up amongst the moss covered trees was so refreshing. Bed was comfy and the room did get a little warm but cooled off quickly at night. Would stay again!

Cozy treehouse!

We loved our time here! It was great to relax by the fire and lounge in our warm cozy treehouse with an incredible view of the mossy trees all around us. We took a beautiful drive to Diablo Lake for one day and a quick trip into Bellingham the next. Restroom is accessible, very clean and about a 3 minute walk from the treehouses. Emily was very responsive and accommodating. We will definitely be back soon! PS The nearby diner (within walking distance) has yummy food and a great pie selection!

Work Trip to Bellingham

Emily and Miles were very responsive and accommodating. Plus the treehouse was beautiful! I would highly recommend, especially if you’re looking for a spot that puts you in the trees, but you’re not up for the grit of camping.

The treehouse was a minimalists dream. Bed, heater, light, and magnificent views of a gorgeous moss covered tree- the property is covered with these. There’s a porta potty on site about a 2-3 min walk from the house for your needs and a real sink for washing up. 10/10 would stay again!

The Spruce Treehouse, Samara Farm!

Loved everything here! Met Miles on the first day, very hospitable! It’s the perfect setting to wind down and relax from the busy city life, we very much enjoyed our time here. We booked the Spruce treehouse, it comes with a deck with tables and chairs even. Most excellent. Private, and just so very moss forest whimsical. Miles recommended the diner in town, great food and the employees there are very kind and welcoming. Can’t wait to return in the warmer months. Thank you for sharing your land with us!

We had a great experience here. Stayed 2 nights with our dog. Super cozy and warm in the Spruce treehouse and the covered deck was a nice feature. We were able to use our camp stove there. Loved the diner down the road. Lovely setting and would absolutely come again.
